Also known as paddle locking latches, these are often used on electrical panels and cabinets. Quickly push the locking latches closed to secure doors. A convenient alternative to cam and draw latches, they don’t require you to turn a cam or pull a latch to close. All are keyed alike, choose them if you need several locks that open with the same key.

To determine door mounting location, look at the outside face of the door: if the hinges are on the right, order a right-side latch; if the hinges are on the left, order a left-side latch. Locking latches with both left- and right-side mounting can be installed on a center frame to latch and secure double doors.

Keyed Push-to-Close Locking Latches with Pop-Out Knob

Press the knob in so it's flush and out of the way when not in use; it pops out when you press it again. Quickly push these locking latches closed to secure doors, whether the knob is in or out. A convenient alternative to cam and draw latches, they don’t require you to turn a cam or pull a latch to close. When the knob is in, you won’t bump into these latches or catch straps and other items on them. All open with a turn of the knob. Choose these locking latches if you need several locks that open with the same key.

Recessed Ring-Handle Keyed Push-to-Close Locking Latches

Great where space is a concern, these locking latches have a spring-loaded ring handle that returns to its recessed position when you release it. Push them closed to lock your door automatically.

Recessed Handle Keyed Push-to-Close Locking Latches

To prevent snags and accidental bumps, these locking latches have a recessed grip instead of a standard handle. Put your finger in the recess and slide the latch to open. They keep doors shut when you push them closed. A convenient alternative to cam and draw latches, they don't require you to turn a cam or pull a latch to close. They press into a cutout without tools, so they’re fast and easy to install. However, they only fit a cutout shape that matches the locking latch. Since they’re keyed alike, they’re good if you need several locks that open with the same key. They meet UL 94 V-0, so they’ll self-extinguish in the event of a fire.

Square-Drive Push-to-Close Locking Latches for Sliding Doors

Quickly push to secure sliding doors on industrial cabinets and enclosure panels. These latches are more convenient to use than cam and draw latches, since you don’t need to turn them to close. They open with a square key, so they match a common keying system for industrial enclosures but are more secure than locking latches that open with a hex key or slotted driver. Their concealed design also stops others from tampering with them using pliers.
Mount these latches to the back of your door. They require a through-hole in the front of your door to insert your key. To change how far they project into your enclosure, these locking latches include two mounting brackets with different depths. They don’t come with a catch, so you’ll need to cut a slot in your door frame or mount a stud.

Keyed Push-to-Close Locking Latches with Edge-Pull Handle for Sliding Doors

For use on on sliding doors—including those on T-slotted framing systems—these locking latches have a two-piece design that locks when pushed closed. An edge-pull handle makes these locks easy to open and fits where traditional handles don’t. Compared to cam and draw latches, these locking latches are more convenient because they easily latch with a single push.

Two-Way-Drive Push-to-Close Locking Latches for Sliding Doors

Secure sliding doors on industrial cabinets and enclosure panels with a push. These latches are more convenient to use than cam and draw latches, since you don’t need to turn them to close. Open them with a two-way key (sold separately). Also called a double-bit key, this type matches a keying system that’s common for industrial enclosures and other machinery but is more secure than a hex key or slotted driver. These locking latches also have a concealed design that prevents others from tampering with them using pliers.
Mount these locking latches to the back of your door. They require a through-hole in the front of your door to insert your key. To change how far they project into your enclosure, these latches include two mounting brackets with different depths. They don’t come with a catch, so you’ll need to cut a slot in your door frame or mount a stud.
