A built-in transmitter reads surface energy levels and converts them to analog and digital output values that can be read by a receiving device, such as a PLC. Adjust set points, emissivity range, and other settings on-site using the buttons on the transmitters. Connect transmitters to an IO-link controller (not included) to change settings remotely and alert you to errors on PLCs and human-machine interfaces.

Plug these transmitters into shielded M12 sockets since they're extremely prone to signal interference. These transmitters connect using two wires to send a 4-20mA current output and four wires to use the switching output and IO-link. Connect to pin 5 to utilize the test function to verify that the transmitter's signal processing is working correctly.
