About Sound Levels
Measured in decibels (dB), volume ratings indicate how much noise equipment makes. Some common volume levels include a whisper @ 20 dB, a refrigerator @ 40 dB, a conversation @ 60 dB, and a light machine shop @ 90 dB. OSHA recommends hearing protection for exposure to 80 dB and greater.
Low-Noise Extended-Reach Blowguns
Designed to reduce noise, these blowguns are quieter than similar standard guns. Use the extra length to access hard-to-reach areas. Blowguns conform to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.242 requirements for maximum air outlet pressure. Volume (dB) is measured 3 ft. from the blowgun at 100 psi.

High-Volume Low-Heat Air Blowers
Combine high-volume airflow with low-heat output for warming and drying. These blowers tilt to direct airflow.
Noise-reducing blowers are quieter than all of the other blowers.
Blowers with a fixed airflow rate are portable, so you can carry them from job to job.
Use the optional wye adapters to direct air into two hoses for more complete drying.

Workstation Static Eliminators with Fan
Spread the range of static control further than static eliminators without a fan. Small enough to fit on your desktop, these create an ionized field across your immediate workspace to protect against electrostatic discharge.
Static eliminators with a quiet mode have a slower fan speed than other static eliminators and are often used in small-parts and soldering applications. They’re also suitable for use in clean rooms rated to both Federal Standard and ISO classes.
Use the optional articulating arms for positioning the static eliminators.
The replacement filter kits contain one filter retainer, which holds a filter in place, and one filter.
3D Printer Portable Air Cleaners
Draw particles and filament fumes away from open-frame 3D printers without cooling off printed parts. Unlike standard air cleaners, which create airflow strong enough to cool the print area and warp your parts, these low-airflow cleaners won’t disrupt your print. A three-part filtering process keeps you from breathing harmful emissions: a prefilter traps large particles, then a combination HEPA and activated carbon filter captures both fine particles and fumes. These CE marked cleaners meet health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products.
