    Reciprocating Saw Blade Assortments

Image of Product. Front orientation. Reciprocating Saw Blades. Reciprocating Saw Blade Assortments.
Whether you’re cutting metal, plastic, or wood, keep a set of blades on hand to complete any reciprocating saw job. Also known as bimetal blades, the blades in these sets have high-speed steel teeth and a flexible carbon steel body. Thanks to their flexibility, they’re good for cutting flush against a surface, such as cutting pipe close to a wall or creating an access panel in an enclosure. Use them for straight cuts, curved cuts, and plunge cuts in the center of a material. With a 1/2” universal shank, they fit most reciprocating saws.
5 Pieces, 6 Pieces, and 14 Pieces—5-, 6-, and 14-piece assortments have wide blades meant for cutting through multiple layers. They’re also known as demolition blades.
10 Pieces—10-piece assortments are for use on materials of any thickness.
32 Pieces—32-piece assortment blades for wood with nails are for use on wood of any thickness.
Aluminum-Coated Carbon Steel Body—Blades with an aluminum-coated body resist heat buildup when cutting, so they stay sharp and don’t get gummed up with metal shards. Since they stay cool, they won’t accidentally harden the edge that you’re cutting.

Heavy Duty Reciprocating Saw Blades for Straight Cuts in Metal

Image of Product. Front orientation. Reciprocating Saw Blades. Heavy Duty Reciprocating Saw Blades for Straight Cuts in Metal.
These blades are wide to cut through multiple layers. They're also known as demolition blades. Stiffer than other blades, they make straighter cuts. Blades have a 1/2" universal shank that fits most reciprocating saws. Also known as bimetal blades, they have a flexible carbon steel body with teeth made of high-speed steel. Choose blades with more teeth per inch for a smooth finish; choose blades with fewer teeth per inch for fast, rough cutting.
Constant-Set Tooth—Blades with a constant-set-tooth style have the same size and number of teeth per inch throughout the blade.

The teeth on these blades vary in size and pattern to reduce vibration and produce smooth cuts. They're stiffer than other blades for making straight cuts in a wide range of materials including metal, plastic, and wood. Blades have a 1/2" universal shank that fits most reciprocating saws. Also known as bimetal blades, these have a flexible carbon steel body with high-speed steel teeth. Heavy Duty Extra-Long-Life Reciprocating Saw Blades for Straight Cuts in Metal

Image of Product. Front orientation. Reciprocating Saw Blades. Heavy Duty Extra-Long-Life Reciprocating Saw Blades for Straight Cuts in Metal.
Also known as demolition blades, these wide blades cut through multiple layers of metal quickly. The carbide-tipped teeth are harder than high-speed steel teeth, so they stay sharp longer and cut through harder materials, including stainless steel. The 1/2" universal shank on these blades fits most reciprocating saws.
Carbide-Tipped Steel Teeth—Blades with carbide-tipped steel teeth stay sharp 50 times longer than bimetal blades with high-speed steel teeth.
