    Reciprocating Saw Blade Assortments

Image of Product. Front orientation. Reciprocating Saw Blades. Reciprocating Saw Blade Assortments.
Whether you’re cutting metal, plastic, or wood, keep a set of blades on hand to complete any reciprocating saw job. Also known as bimetal blades, the blades in these sets have high-speed steel teeth and a flexible carbon steel body. Thanks to their flexibility, they’re good for cutting flush against a surface, such as cutting pipe close to a wall or creating an access panel in an enclosure. Use them for straight cuts, curved cuts, and plunge cuts in the center of a material. With a 1/2” universal shank, they fit most reciprocating saws.
5 Pieces, 6 Pieces, and 14 Pieces—5-, 6-, and 14-piece assortments have wide blades meant for cutting through multiple layers. They’re also known as demolition blades.
10 Pieces—10-piece assortments are for use on materials of any thickness.
32 Pieces—32-piece assortment blades for wood with nails are for use on wood of any thickness.
Aluminum-Coated Carbon Steel Body—Blades with an aluminum-coated body resist heat buildup when cutting, so they stay sharp and don’t get gummed up with metal shards. Since they stay cool, they won’t accidentally harden the edge that you’re cutting.

Extra-Long-Life Reciprocating Saw Blades for Straight Cuts

Image of Product. Front orientation. Reciprocating Saw Blades. Extra-Long-Life Reciprocating Saw Blades for Straight Cuts.
The teeth on these blades are carbide-tipped so they last longer than long-life blades with coated teeth. They're stiffer than other blades for making straight cuts. Blades have a 1/2" universal shank that fits most reciprocating saws. Tooth size and number per inch are constant throughout the blade. Choose blades with more teeth per inch for a smooth finish; choose blades with fewer teeth per inch for fast, rough cutting.
Carbon Steel Body—Blades with a carbon steel body are flexible for cutting a wide range of materials including wood, plastic, and fiberglass.

Heavy Duty Extra-Long-Life Reciprocating Saw Blades for Plunge Cuts

Image of Product. Side1 orientation. Reciprocating Saw Blades. Heavy Duty Extra-Long-Life Reciprocating Saw Blades for Plunge Cuts.
Wide enough to cut through multiple layers quickly, these blades are often called demolition blades. With carbide-tipped teeth, they stay sharp at least 50 times longer than bimetal blades with high-speed steel teeth. The teeth are also harder for cutting harder materials. The pointed tip is made for plunge cuts—it lets you start from the center of a material instead of the edge. Use them on a wide range of materials for tasks from removing an old piping system to adding an access panel to a wall. Their 1/2” universal shank fits most reciprocating saws.
Heat Dissipating—Heat-dissipating blades have teeth made of a specialized carbide blend that dissipates heat as you cut. They stay sharp 100 times longer than bimetal blades with high-speed steel teeth—the longest life in our reciprocating saw blade offering.
Variable-Set Tooth—Blades with variable-set teeth limit vibration to keep your cuts stable and straight without requiring much effort. Their aluminum-coated body reduces heat buildup when cutting, so they won’t burn your wood or accidentally harden metal edges. They’ll also stay sharp and won’t get gummed up with metal shards or sawdust.
