Make quick, rough cuts anywhere on your site. These saws give you the same cutting power as an electric reciprocating saw but don’t need an outlet. Often used for demolition, they’ll cut a wide range of materials, from wood framing to PVC piping to steel panels. The more you squeeze their trigger, the faster the blade moves. Slow down the blade for hard materials and speed it up for soft ones.
They have a blade release lever, so you can swap out blades without tools. Some saws come with a battery and charger. For other saws, batteries and chargers are sold separately.
For smoother cuts in thick and hard materials, choose a saw with higher voltage.
Bluetooth Connection—Saws with Bluetooth connection link to a free downloadable app, Milwaukee One-Key. From your smartphone, control the maximum blade speed and customize the ramp-up rate. You can also use the app to track your tool’s location, monitor usage, and get notifications for maintenance.
Cut Brake—Saws with a cut brake stop automatically when there's nothing more to cut through. Especially useful in tight spaces, this brake helps prevent accidental nicks to nearby material.
Adjustable Shoe—Saws with an adjustable shoe let you change your cutting depth without needing tools.
Orbital Cutting Function—Saws with an orbital cutting function can switch to moving the blade in an oval pattern for even faster, rougher cuts. For more precise speed control than just the trigger, these saws also have a dial to set the maximum speed.

    Electric Reciprocating Saws

    Straight Grip

Often used for demolition, these saws make quick, rough cuts in a wide range of material from old pipes to drywall. A variable-speed trigger helps you optimize your cuts—the harder you press down on the trigger, the faster the blade moves. These saws accept any 1/2” shank reciprocating saw blade. Switch out the blades without needing tools.
For smoother cuts in thick and hard materials, choose a saw with higher current.
Milwaukee—Milwaukee saws can switch to orbital cutting, which means the blade moves in an oval pattern, to make even faster, rougher cuts. For more precise speed control than just the trigger, these saws also have a dial to set the maximum speed. An adjustable shoe lets you change your cutting depth without using any tools. This extends blade life by exposing different sections of the blade to the material being cut.
