Recycled Marine-Grade HDPE Sheets

Made of recycled HDPE plastic, these sheets are more sustainable and economical than standard marine-grade moisture-resistant HDPE sheets. They won’t absorb moisture or swell when exposed to humidity. They also won’t degrade in salt water. However, their properties have more variance and broader ranges than material that is not recycled. Recycled Antistatic UHMW Polyethylene Sheets

They help meet sustainability certifications such as LEED or Envision. Because the surface is slippery and resists wear, these bars are often used as machine guards, conveying equipment, and chute liners. However, this material has a lower tensile and yield strength than standard UHMW, so it should not be used in high tension environments. Also known as mechanical-grade UHMW.
