Recycled Slippery UHMW Polyethylene Sheets and Bars
- Color: Black
- Temperature Range: -40° to 180° F
- Tensile Strength: 4,000 psi (Poor)
- Impact Strength: 16.8 ft.-lbs./in. (Excellent)
- Hardness: Durometer 65D-67D (Medium)
- For Use Outdoors: No
- Specifications Met: ASTM D4020, UL 94 HB
More sustainable than standard UHMW, these sheets and bars are made from partially recycled material, so they have a lower carbon footprint. They help meet sustainability certifications such as LEED or Envision. Because the surface is slippery and resists wear, these sheets and bars are often used as machine guards, conveying equipment, and chute liners. However, this material has a lower tensile and yield strength than standard UHMW, so it should not be used in high tension environments. Also known as mechanical-grade UHMW.

Recycled Antistatic Slippery UHMW Polyethylene Sheets
- Color: Black
- Temperature Range: -235° to 175° F
- Tensile Strength: 4,000 psi (Poor)
- Impact Strength: No Break (Excellent)
- Hardness: Durometer 60D (Medium)
- For Use Outdoors: Yes
- Specifications Met: ASTM D4020, UL 94 HB
Made with carbon black, these recycled UHMW sheets are a sustainable alternative to standard UHMW sheets in applications where static electricity is a concern, such as in conveying equipment and chute liners. They have a slippery surface that prevents sticking and binding. They also absorb shocks and won’t wear down from friction. Because of their low carbon footprint, these sheets can help you meet criteria for sustainability certifications, such as LEED and Envision. They can also help you comply with company environmental initiatives. These recycled UHMW sheets have lower material properties than those that are not recycled.

Recycled Marine-Grade Moisture-Resistant Polyethylene (HDPE) Sheets
- Color: Black
- Maximum Temperature: 180° F
- Tensile Strength: 2,100 psi (Poor)
- Impact Strength: 0.7 ft-lbs./in. (Poor)
- Hardness: Durometer 68D (Medium)
- For Use Outdoors: Yes
Made of recycled HDPE plastic, these sheets are more sustainable and economical than standard marine-grade moisture-resistant HDPE sheets. They won’t absorb moisture or swell when exposed to humidity. They also won’t degrade in salt water. However, their properties have more variance and broader ranges than material that is not recycled. Because these sheets have a low carbon footprint, they can help you meet criteria for sustainability certifications, such as LEED and Envision, or comply with company environmental initiatives.
Coarse sheets are textured to hide scuffs and scratches.

Made of recycled steel mill scale and reground plastic, these sheets are a sustainable, low-cost alternative to standard composites often used as counterweights, such as lead and steel. They are also the highest density product replacement to steel counterweights, although they’re not as dense as steel. Use them in cabinets, appliances, vehicles, signage, and industrial equipment. With a low carbon footprint, these sheets can help you meet criteria for sustainability certifications, such as LEED and Envision, or comply with company environmental initiatives. They’re extruded, so they won’t create dust, unlike concrete.
