Control circuits with the tap of an RFID tag. Since each tag (sold separately) has a unique digital code, these switches aren’t just quicker to use than those with a traditional key—they’re also more secure. Use them to limit access to sensitive equipment, prevent accidental actuation, and also to keep tabs on access. Unlike standard switches, the RFID reader records data about every signal sent, so you can track exactly who operated these switches and when. They have enough memory to store and manage up to 500 tag codes, which you can rewrite and deactivate as needed.
All fit in a standard panel cutout. To set up these switches, connect them via ethernet cord (sold separately) to a computer, programmable logic controller (PLC), or another controller. No separate RFID writer required.
Key Fob Holder—Pick readers with a key fob holder when you want a circuit to stay on. The holder keeps a fob in front of the reader, so there’s no need to tap and re-tap the fob.
