    Equip your robot arm with two tools at once—these mounts have two angled mounting surfaces. They’re often used to speed up a robot’s work cycle, such as when two grippers swap workpieces in and out of a CNC machine. Or use them to mount tool with different functions, such as a pick-and-place gripper that puts a workpiece into a vise and a sander that finishes the workpiece. These mounts fit most robot arms, such as FANUC CRX and Universal Robots (UR). They either have mounting slots that fit multiple ISO mounting patterns or can be machined to add your own.
    For a complete system, you’ll need one end-of-robot-arm mount and two tool mounts—one for each robot tool. All parts are sold separately. Mounts come with all the hardware you need to attach them to robot arms but not the hardware required to attach tools to the mounts.

    Robot-Ready Electric Vacuum Lifters for Lightweight Items

    Made for FANUC CRX and Universal Robots collaborative robots, these lifters use suction to pick up and move lightweight items, up to 6 lbs. They run on electricity, so you don’t need compressed air or air valves. Often used in packaging, palletizing, and material handling, these lifters can grip everything from small cardboard boxes to bagged screws. With soft rubber cups, they’re less likely than pick-and-place grippers to damage glass, thin plastic, and other delicate materials. They’re also simple to set up—a single cord supplies both power and control to your robot arm. They help you meet ISO/TS 15066 international safety standards for people working near robots because there are no pinch points or sharp edges.
    Vacuum Lifters

    These lifters include a vacuum generator with a robot mount, a cord, and two types of vacuum cups. Use the flat cup for items with level surfaces and the single-bellows cup for gripping tilted items or items of different heights. You can also use your own vacuum cup if it has a compatible 1/4 BSPP threaded connection. For large items, items that might break if lifted from a single point, or material with uneven weight distribution, use 2-, 3-, or 4-cup assemblies (sold separately).
    Once you’ve installed these lifters, use your robot program to turn suction on or off. An integrated vacuum switch tells your robot when an item is picked up, so it knows when to move to the next location. Adjust the vacuum level using the arrow keys on the lifter body. These lifters achieve maximum weight capacity only when handling items with smooth, nonporous surfaces, such as glass or sheet metal.
    Lifters for FANUC CRX arms are FANUC approved and lifters for Universal Robots (UR) arms are UR+ certified, so they’ve been tested to work seamlessly with your robot. For simple integration with your teach pendant software, download FANUC and URCap plug-ins from the manufacturer’s website.

    Tool changes without the downtime—your robot arm handles tool changes on its own. These tool changers allow for multiple tools to be used in a single cycle. For example, the robot can pick and place a workpiece with grippers, then automatically exchange the grippers for a vacuum lifter to pick up a different workpiece. The two mounts latch and lock together using only the motion of your robot arm—no compressed air or electricity required. These tool changers have an ISO 50 mounting hole pattern that is compatible with most collaborative robot tools and arms, including FANUC CRX and most Universal Robots (UR) models.
    A complete system consists of one mount for the end of your robot arm, a mount for each of your robot tools, and a tool holder for each tool.

    All mounts have air connections that let compressed air or vacuum pass through the mount, so you don’t have to run external lines that would get in the way of tool changes. They include two push-to-connect fittings to easily connect tubing. If air power is not needed, or if you prefer to use your own fittings, remove the included fittings.
    With Air and Electric Pass-Through—Mounts with air and electric pass-throughs also route power, so you can switch between air-powered and electric tools in the same cycle. For example, you can use them with an electric vacuum lifter, then swap to air-powered grippers. They have a built-in 8-pole Nano M8 socket that connects directly to your robot arm.

    All mounts can receive air from the mating robot arm mount and pass it through holes to air-powered tools, such as grippers. If you’re customizing a tool, make sure your design is compatible with these holes. Otherwise, use an air pass-through adapter (sold separately) to route the air from the mount to the air inlets on your tool.
    With Air and Electric Pass-Through—Use mounts with air and electric pass-throughs when connecting to electric tools. Choose a mount with either an 8-pole Nano M8 plug or socket to mate with your tool’s electric cord.

    Quickly swap out your robot tools between tasks using nothing but your hands. A complete assembly includes two mounts—one for your robot arm and one for your tool (each sold separately). Slide them together, then rotate the tool mount 180° to lock it in place. All mounts have standard ISO mounting patterns, so they work with FANUC CRX, Universal Robots (UR), and other common robot arms.

    Quickly swap air- and electric-powered robot tools with these tool changers. Pass-throughs for air and electric connections run through the changer, so you don’t need to disconnect and reconnect air lines or cords when switching robot tools. The separate mounts for your robot arm and tool connect with a lever-locking clamp. Lift the lever to release a tool, slide in a new one, and close the lever to secure it. These tool changers have multiple ISO mounting patterns, which makes them compatible with most robot tools and arms, including FANUC CRX and Universal Robots (UR).
    A complete assembly consists of one mount for the end of robot arm and a mount for each of your robot tools. All components are sold separately.

    Robot-Ready Electric Vacuum Lifters

    Attach these lifters to FANUC CRX or Universal Robots collaborative robots. They handle items up to 3.5 times heavier than our lifters for lightweight items. Because they use electricity to pick up and move items with suction, there’s no need for compressed air or air control valves. They don’t have pinch points or sharp edges, so they help you meet ISO/TS 15066 international safety standards for people working near robots.
    Often used in packaging, palletizing, and material handling, these lifters can grip everything from cardboard boxes to bags of screws. With soft rubber cups, they’re less likely than pick-and-place grippers to damage glass, thin plastic, and other delicate objects. To install, plug the cord into your robot arm. It carries both power and control signals.
    Vacuum Lifters

    These lifters include a robot tool mount, vacuum generator, quick-change cup mount, vacuum cup assembly, extra vacuum cup, and cord. Use the quick-change cup mount to swap in other vacuum cup assemblies (sold separately).
    Once installed, use your robot program to turn suction on or off. An integrated vacuum switch tells your robot when an item is picked up, so it can move to the next location. View and adjust vacuum levels and other settings with an onboard screen and keypad.
    Lifters for FANUC CRX arms are FANUC approved and lifters for Universal Robots (UR) arms are UR+ certified, so they’ve been tested to work seamlessly with your robot. For simple integration with your teach pendant software, download FANUC and URCap plug-ins from the manufacturer’s website.
    Maximum Weight Capacity—Maximum weight capacity is achieved only when lifting items with smooth, nonporous surfaces, such as those made from glass and sheet metal. Materials like cardboard leak air when lifted, which reduces your lifter’s capacity. For instance, you can lift about 25% of the maximum capacity when using these lifters on a cardboard box similar to those we ship our parts in.
