    Chemical-Resistant Ultra-Low-Friction PTFE Rods

    These rods and discs are made of PTFE, a material that surpasses most plastic when it comes to chemical resistance and performance in extreme temperatures. In addition to resisting most solvents, they are an excellent electrical insulator. They are easy to machine and have a naturally slippery surface that makes them a good choice for bearings, gears, and parts that slide and roll.

    Metal-Detectable UHMW Polyethylene Rods

    Reduce the risk of contaminating your process line—these rods have an additive that can be located by metal detectors. Use them for bushings and bearings where food safety is a priority. They have excellent impact resistance and a slippery surface that prevents sticking and reduces wear.

    Glass-Filled PTFE Round Tubes

    For increased rigidity and durability over standard PTFE tubes, choose these glass-filled PTFE tubes. They offer the same naturally slippery surface that you’d expect from PTFE, along with the excellent resistance to chemicals and extreme temperatures. They can be machined to close tolerances because the reinforcement prevents them from expanding when exposed to water and heat.
    Oversized Tolerance—Oversized tubes have an oversized OD and an undersized ID for finishing to the sizes listed.
