Portable Rope Work Lights

A flexible design allows these lights to be suspended above, wrapped around, or routed through areas on the job site. They’re for use indoors.

Any Color—Any-color lights let you customize their color, brightness, and patterns. Choose from thousands of colors or simply turn on their separate LEDs that shine a warm white color. They connect to a free downloadable app on your smartphone using Wi-Fi. Use the app to group multiple rope lights together so that they flash in sync. You can even change the color and brightness every six inches along the rope.

Warm Light—Lights with a warm light appearance cast light with yellow tones, similar to an incandescent bulb.

Neutral Light—Lights with a neutral light appearance are commonly used in workspaces.

Daylight Light—Lights with a daylight light appearance produce light that highlights white and blue tones, so they are good for inspecting.

Mounting Tracks

Plug-In Tape Lights

These thin, flexible lights wrap around equipment, hide under cabinets, and squeeze into tight spaces—all you need is an outlet. Just peel and stick to attach them to any smooth surface. They’re easier to install than hardwired tape lights, but they’re not as bright. All come with a controller to turn them on or off and adjust the brightness and light appearance. You can also cut them to size.

White Light—Tape lights with only white LEDs are brighter than lights with any-color LEDs. You can link multiple lights together wirelessly: press the power button on one light, and others within 50 ft. will also turn on or off. For a longer light, connect two strips together. Use the included connecting cables to wrap a light around a sharp corner or make small jumps between strips.

Any Color Light—Tape lights with any-color LEDs can display the full spectrum of colors and any temperature of white. Use them to illuminate signs, brighten displays, or mark zones in your facility. They’re more flexible than tape lights with only white LEDs, so you can bend them around corners without adding a connecting cable.

20 ft. Long—You can connect two 20 ft. long lights to create a longer light.

Style C

Hang a string of lights overhead to brighten wet jobsites. IP rated, these lights are sealed to keep out dust and moisture from washdowns, splashes, and sprays, even outdoors. They have multiple heads, so you can light large areas. Daisy chain multiple strings together to cover an even larger area.

Style A—Style A have hooks on the top of each light head for hanging.

Style B—Style B have additional LEDs on the back which bounce light off the ceiling to reduce glare. Each head has at least one loop on the back for easy mounting.

Style C—Style C are built the toughest to withstand extreme weather. You can use them in temperatures as low as -40° F and plunge them 3 ft. under water, and they’ll still work. These lights not only carry one of the toughest IP ratings but also the top NEMA rating for outdoors and use near oil and coolant. They cast light at a 200° angle, illuminating a broad area.

Grow Lights

Style C

Also known as agricultural lights, these lights encourage growth in herbs, flowers, and other plants indoors. They have three color settings to optimize your plants’ development from seedling onward. Blue light in the early stages enhances photosynthesis and establishes strong roots. White light during the vegetative stages makes it easier to see the plants and monitor growth. Red light in the later stages supports flowering and fruiting. Easily switch between each color or combine colors when you have plants at different stages. ETL listed for use in damp locations, these lights withstand humidity and moisture. You can link multiple lights together in a circuit to simplify wiring.

Style C—Style C lights, also known as tape lights, have an adhesive on the back for easy mounting. They’re flexible enough to fit in tight spaces such as corners and channels. Snap the two 4' sections together or use the included 6" or 12" connectors to create two rows of light or jump between shelves. You can also cut them to your desired length.

Tape Lights

Bend these flexible lights around corners or squeeze them into spaces where bulky fixtures won’t fit. They’re brighter than plug-in tape lights, so you can use them for inspections and other detailed work. They’re also a great choice to extend the life of your fluorescent or incandescent fixtures with energy-efficient LEDs. They have a higher CRI (color rendering index) than most other lights, so they illuminate subtle color differences. Each LED is inspected to make sure there are no visible differences in temperature and brightness, so you can combine multiple strips within the same space. Install them on any smooth surface—just peel and stick.

You’ll need a driver to power these lights. Customize your setup: join multiple lights together, use connectors to bridge gaps between stairs or shelves, or add channels to diffuse light within your space (all sold separately).

Note: To shorten a light, cut it at the marked intervals only. Cutting outside these marks can damage the circuit and create dead zones.

Tape Lights

IP20 Enclosure Rating—Lights rated IP20 are for indoor use only.

IP67 Enclosure Rating—Lights rated IP67 are sealed to protect against dust and temporary submersion, so they can be used outdoors and in dirty, wet areas. For submersion over 30 minutes, choose IP68 lights.

White Light—White tape lights come in several different light appearances to suit your environment or match existing lighting.

Any Color Light—Any-color lights connect to an app on your phone, so you can set them to any color or to any temperature of white light. They’re also known as RGB+WW lights.

Dim-to-Warm Color Temperature—Dim-to-warm lights get warmer as they dim to mimic incandescent lights.

Selectable Color Temperature—Use the switch included with color temperature selectable tape lights to choose between 5 options.

Warm Light— Lights with a warm appearance have a soft, yellow tone that is similar to an incandescent bulb.

Neutral Light—Lights with a neutral appearance balance blue and yellow tones for a bright, natural look. They’re often used in offices.

Cool Light—Lights with a cool appearance have white and blue tones that reduce eyestrain during detail-oriented tasks, such as inspecting.

Drivers

Drivers provide a constant voltage to your tape lights, protecting the LEDs from power fluctuations. Built-in thermal protection helps extend the lifespan of these drivers, and they’re housed in a UL-listed enclosure suitable for wet locations. To install, feed the power source and tape light wire leads through the knockouts. Seal the entry points using a _1/2 trade size conduit fitting or cord grip. Inside the enclosure, connect the wire leads using the included lever connectors. Do not exceed the recommended tape length; to power longer lights, add another driver.

Channels


Angled	High

Wide	Low

Channels have a frosted lens that reduces the glare from tape lights and gives them a finished look. All come with brackets and mounting fasteners for easy installation.

Angled—Angled channels mount into corners and direct light at a 45° angle. They’re often used to illuminate counters, shelves, and stairs.

High—High channels have the most space between the LEDs and the lens, so they reduce glare the most.

Wide—Wide channels diffuse light over a wider area than other channels to eliminate shadows.

Low—Low channels are short and narrow, so you can squeeze them into the tightest spots.

Plug-In Portable String Work Lights

A series of bulb heads are attached to a power cord to provide overhead lighting for jobsites. The cord has a plug on one end and a female connector on the other end, so you can connect multiple strings to illuminate larger areas. These lights have plastic-coated steel guards to protect the bulbs. Use them with medium-base, screw-in LED bulbs.

NEMA L5-20—Lights with a NEMA L5-20 plug turn and lock together for a secure connection.

50 ft. Overall Length—For lights that are 50 ft. long, use up to a 30W bulb when connecting multiple strings.

Hang these lights above your workspace—they shine through long tubes to distribute even light with minimal glare and shadows. Carry them where you need them and suspend them from pipes, beams, and other overhead surfaces. A plastic lens keeps drops and dings from breaking the lights.

Style B—Style B are our brightest tubular portable lights, shining from four light tubes encased together. They mount with the included straps, or you can stand them on end for a freestanding light.

Explosion-Proof String Work Lights

Safe to use in areas with ignitable concentrations of flammable or combustible gases, vapors, liquids, and dust, these lights are rated NEC Class I, Class II, and Zone 1. Their housing contains fire and sparks, so they don’t ignite what’s in your environment. They’re often used in refineries, mines, and paint booths. Rated IP66, they’re also dust tight and sealed against sprays of water such as those used in washdowns. Since each head weighs less than 2 lbs., they’re easy to hang overhead. Each head has two straps for mounting on pipes, beams, or other surfaces.

These lights come with a standard three-prong plug, so electrical connections must be made outside of the hazardous environment. Alternatively, you can add a hazardous location plug.
