Use this nylon rope when you need to compensate for sudden force, such as in towing applications or dock lines. Rope is rot and mildew resistant, but it can lose up to 20% of its strength when wet. Solid braided construction keeps the rope from flattening during use and disperses wear evenly, making it a good choice for high-friction applications, such as passing through pulleys. It knots easily and does not rotate under load.

Rotation-Resistant Wire Rope for Lifting

This wire rope won't spin or twist loads in the air. The outer strands twist in the opposite direction of the inner strands to keep loads stable when lifted or suspended. They're often used to lift and lower elevators without any unwanted movement.

Install with a compression tool to create a strong, permanent loop. Compression sleeves are also known as ferrules, crimps, swaging, and splicing sleeves. They're compatible with Nicopress compression tools.

Warning: Fittings must match rope diameter and be installed correctly to obtain maximum holding power. Test all assemblies for required strength before use. Do not use with coated rope unless the coating is removed.

Tin-Plated Copper—Tin-plated copper sleeves have mild corrosion resistance.

Black-Oxide Copper—Black-oxide copper sleeves have a dark surface color and mild corrosion resistance.
