Low-Temperature Multipurpose Neoprene Rubber Sheets

Freezing cold won’t affect the performance of these sheets—they withstand temperatures as low as –65° F. Use them as flooring in workspaces exposed to cold weather or as seals for machinery in refrigerated environments. Also known as chloroprene, neoprene resists oil and abrasion. Its balanced set of properties make it a good general purpose rubber. All have been manufactured to meet MIL-PRF-6855 (formerly MIL-R-6855) standards for rubber.

High-Strength Abrasion-Resistant SBR Rubber Sheets

With increased tensile strength and shock absorption, these sheets last longer than standard SBR. All have been manufactured to military specifications for rubber. SBR is harder and resists wear and tear better than natural rubber. It’s often used for tires, conveyor belts, and chutes. SBR (styrene butadiene rubber) is also known as skirtboard.

With a thin metal backing, these sheets are good for use in bumpers, wear pads, machinery mounts, and other applications where some structural support is needed. Its polyurethane material combines the shock absorbing qualities of rubber with the tear resistance of plastic. It can be easily bent to shape. Use a band saw or water jet to cut sheets as needed. You can also use laser cutting to shape sheets for better precision. The dimensions shown are for the polyurethane: the metal backing may be slightly larger.

Chemical-Resistant Ultra-High Temperature FFKM Rubber Balls

- Color: Black
- Temperature Range: 15° to 445° F
- Tensile Strength: 1,200 psi
- For Use Outdoors: Yes
For use in harsh environments, these FFKM balls resist most chemicals and withstand temperatures up to 445° F. Also known as perfluoroelastomer, FFKM is comparable to Kalrez. Use these balls as seals in pumps and check valves that are exposed to high heat and aggressive chemicals, such as in semiconductor manufacturing.
Water- and Refrigerant-Resistant Reinforced Neoprene Gasket Material

These neoprene gasket sheets are reinforced with a nylon insert to prevent them from losing shape while under pressure up to 1,000 psi. Cut with scissors or a utility knife.

High-Temperature Slippery UHMW Polyethylene

Also known as Tivar H.O.T., this material lasts up to 10 times longer in high-temperature applications than standard UHMW. These sheets and bars are excellent electrical insulators. They have a slippery surface that resists wear and prevents sticking, plus they provide superior protection from damage caused by impact. They are FDA compliant for direct contact with food.
Skived sheets and bars are more likely to curl than extruded and molded sheets and bars.
