    Drain, Waste, and Vent ABS Pipe Nipples and Pipe for Chemicals

    Use this Schedule 40 pipe as an economical option for gravity-flow chemical waste systems. Pipe is ABS plastic, which has excellent strength and impact resistance and good chemical resistance. Connect to unthreaded female socket-connect fittings using ABS cement (also known as solvent weld).
    Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings, flanges, and pipe with compressed air or gas.

    Drain, Waste, and Vent Iron and Steel Pipe Nipples and Pipe

    Use this pipe in gravity-flow applications both above and below ground. It is also known as no-hub pipe and soil pipe. To connect, butt the end of a fitting up against pipe or another fitting and connect with a low-pressure clamp-on connector (sold separately). The clamp-on connector is also known as a no-hub coupling. Pipe and fittings are for use in noncorrosive environments.

    Easy-Access Underground Drain, Waste, and Vent Polyethylene Pipe Nipples and Pipe for Water

    Pipe has a snap-together design that allows you to quickly connect to fittings with no cement required. It is typically used in gravity-flow drainage applications. Made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), it stands up to freeze/thaw cycles and resists corrosion and stress cracking. Pipe is corrugated inside and out for flexibility. It meets ASTM F667 specifications and testing requirements for material quality as well as soil conservation service (SCS) standards for use in underground drain lines.

    Flame-Retardant Drain, Waste, and Vent CPVC Pipe Nipples and Pipe for Chemicals

    Use this pipe in gravity-flow applications that involve highly-corrosive chemicals–it meets NSF/ANSI 14 requirements for use in corrosive waste systems. Pipe is made of CPVC, which has better chemical resistance than ABS plastic to stand up to acids and other harsh substances. Connect to unthreaded female socket-connect fittings using a CPVC primer and cement (also known as solvent weld). Pipe is comparable to Corzan. It meets UL 94 V-0 for flame retardance and ASTM F2618 specifications and testing requirements for material quality. It is IAPMO certified to comply with the International Association for Plumbing and Mechanical Officials product performance standards and the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) for installation and repair of plumbing systems.

    Flame-Retardant Drain, Waste, and Vent Polypropylene Pipe Nipples and Pipe for Chemicals

    Made of polypropylene, this gravity-flow pipe stands up to tough organic solvents, such as acetone, that would dissolve CPVC pipe. You can also use it for lines with highly corrosive acids, such as hydrochloric acid, and alkalies. This pipe meets strict ASTM specifications and testing requirements for material quality and product dimensions. It also meets ASTM and UL flammability standards. This pipe is known as schedule 40 pipe.
    Connect clamp-on fittings to the grooved-ends of this pipe when you need frequent access to your line. If you need to trim down the pipe, you'll need a grooving tool (sold separately) to add a groove for your fitting. For a permanent connection, fuse socket-connect fittings on with an electrofusion tool (sold separately).

    This pipe has thinner walls than Schedule 40 pipe, so it’s lighter in weight and has more space on the inside for high-flow applications, such as underground gravity-flow sewer and storm drainage lines.
