Hose is EPDM, which is the most common material for air applications. It locks in place when pulled out of the reel, and it retracts with a quick tug.
Controlled Retraction—Reels with controlled retraction are also called safety reels because the retraction speed is reduced to 5 ft. per second to increase operator safety.
Ceiling Mount, Floor Mount, and Wall Mount—For reels with multiple mounting options (ceiling, floor, and wall), additional mounting brackets are sold separately that allow them to pivot or mount to a beam.

Controlled-Retraction Heavy Duty Automatic-Winding Hose Reels

Also known as safety reels, these have a retraction speed that's up to 80% slower than other automatic-winding hose reels. They have more support than medium duty reels, so you can pull the hose out at an angle. Hose locks in place when pulled out; a quick tug causes it to retract. Connect your hose with NPT pipe threads to the reel outlet; connect your supply line to the reel inlet. Additional mounting brackets (sold separately) allow reels to pivot or mount to beams.
