Produce consistent finishes with a variety of discs and backup pads. Also known as non-woven or surface-conditioning discs, they have a clog-resistant nylon mesh backing and come in abrasives from coarse to very fine. They compensate for uneven sanding pressure, so they’re good for everything from heavy rust removal to paint prep. The connector on the back lets you swap out discs in seconds. Choose the connection style that matches your tool or backup pad.
Aluminum Oxide Abrasive—The most versatile and affordable abrasive we offer. Aluminum oxide is the go-to choice for general purpose sanding.
Nylon Mesh Grade—Use coarser grade discs for heavy cleaning, stripping, and deburring. Finer grades remove material more slowly, so they're best for gentle cleaning, blending, and finishing.

Tackle a range of sanding jobs. These assortments include a variety of grits for everything from heavy material removal to finishing. The connector on the back lets discs swap out in seconds, so you can get right back to work. Choose the connection style that matches your tool or backup pad.
Cloth Abrasive Backing—Resist tearing and hold up to wet sanding better than paper-backed discs.
TP Style Quick-Change Connector—These assortments are larger than TR style, with two abrasive materials and the compatible backup pads.
Aluminum Oxide Abrasive—The most versatile and affordable abrasive we offer. Aluminum oxide is the go-to choice for general purpose sanding.
Zirconia Alumina Abrasive—A step up from aluminum oxide. Zirconia alumina's tough grains remove material faster and last longer but require heavy pressure to cut properly.
Grit—The lower the grit number, the rougher the finish and the duller the appearance. The higher the grit number, the more polished the finish and the more satin or mirrored the appearance.

Nylon Mesh Hook and Loop Sanding Disc Assortments

Produce consistent finishes with a variety of discs and the backup pads. Also known as non-woven or surface-conditioning discs, they have a clog-resistant nylon mesh backing and come in abrasives from coarse to very fine. Discs compensate for uneven sanding pressure, so they’re good for everything from heavy rust removal and deburring to blending and paint prep. The hook-and-loop backing lets you switch grits without waste, unlike adhesive-backed discs.

    Contact Adhesives for Sanding Abrasives

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contact Adhesives. Contact Adhesives for Sanding Abrasives.
Stick sanding discs or sheets to the backup pad on your sander. Also known as disc cement, these adhesives are strong enough to hold discs in place during aggressive sanding, but flexible enough that you can peel them off when you’re done. They work with either paper- or cloth-backed discs, but only use them on backup pads made for pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) discs or sheets.
