Flaps with silicon carbide abrasive cut through challenging materials and last longer than standard discs. As you work, the flaps expose new grit for steady material removal and even finishes. Mount discs onto your tool’s arbor.
Cloth Abrasive Backing—Resist tearing and hold up to wet sanding better than paper-backed discs.
Threaded Arbor Hole—These discs don’t need a nut to secure, so they're quicker to change out than unthreaded arbors.
Angled Disc—Make better contact on irregular surfaces than flat discs, so they're good for sanding bumps, contours, and edges.

Cut through more material in one sweep—the aluminum backing plate handles heavier pressure than standard discs. The overlapping flaps reveal new grit as you work for steady material removal and even finishes. These discs fit over your tool’s arbor for the most stable mounting.
Cloth Abrasive Backing—Resist tearing and hold up to wet sanding better than paper-backed discs.
Zirconia Alumina Abrasive—A step up from aluminum oxide. Zirconia alumina's tough grains remove material faster and last longer but require heavy pressure to cut properly.

Angled Disc—Make better contact on irregular surfaces than flat discs, so they're good for sanding bumps, contours, and edges.
Grit—The lower the grit number, the rougher the finish and the duller the appearance. The higher the grit number, the more polished the finish and the more satin or mirrored the appearance.

Nylon Mesh Arbor-Mount Flap Sanding Discs

Nylon mesh flaps compensate for uneven pressure to create a consistent finish. Also known as non-woven or surface-conditioning discs, these resist clogging and are often used to prepare surfaces for painting and coating. As the top layer of abrasive wears away, a new layer is exposed, so they last longer than discs without flaps. They fit over your tool’s arbor for the most stable mounting.
Aluminum Oxide Abrasive—The most versatile and affordable abrasive we offer. Aluminum oxide is the go-to choice for general purpose sanding.
Threaded Arbor Hole—These discs don’t need a nut to secure, so they're quicker to change out than unthreaded arbors.
Angled Disc—Make better contact on irregular surfaces than flat discs, so they're good for sanding bumps, contours, and edges.
Nylon Mesh Grade—Use coarser grade discs for heavy cleaning, stripping, and deburring. Finer grades remove material more slowly, so they're best for gentle cleaning, blending, and finishing.

Sand hard metals, trim the disc, and then sand some more. These discs have sharp, durable abrasive with a slick coating that prevents dust and debris from building up. With a soft plastic backing plate, you can trim the flaps as they wear and only need to replace the disc when all the abrasive is gone. To sand contoured and irregular surfaces, adjust how much the flaps overhang the backing plate. Discs mount onto your tool’s arbor.

Avoid overheating or discoloring soft metal and nonmetal workpieces. The overlapping abrasive flaps on these discs are lubricated to minimize heat buildup. As you work, the flaps expose new grit for steady material removal and even finishes. Mount discs onto your tool’s arbor.
Cloth Abrasive Backing—Resist tearing and hold up to wet sanding better than paper-backed discs.
Aluminum Oxide Abrasive—The most versatile and affordable abrasive we offer. Aluminum oxide is the go-to choice for general purpose sanding.
