Fast-Cutting Quick-Change Flap Sanding Discs
The zirconia alumina grit on these discs continually fractures to produce new, sharp cutting edges that aggressively remove material from steel and wood. It lasts longer than aluminum oxide. Overlapping abrasive flaps bonded to a backing plate provide consistent material removal and even finishes. As the top layer of abrasive wears away, a new layer is exposed, so these last longer than discs without flaps. A special fastener on the back of these discs allows you to easily swap one disc for another. Choose the fastener style that matches your tool or backup pad.
Flat discs are better for blending and finishing. Use them on flat surfaces.
Angled discs provide better surface contact for stock removal on flat surfaces. They can also be used on edges and contours.
Style E discs have an X-shaped arbor hole to quickly click into X-lock grinders without a wrench or flange nut. These discs are compatible with 7/8" arbor mounts. A backup pad is not needed with these discs.
Some discs cannot be sold outside of the United States due to export restrictions.

Quick-Change Flap Sanding Discs for Right-Angle Welds

The abrasive flaps wrap around the outer edge of these discs to reach in and sand welds at right angles (fillet welds). These overlapping abrasive flaps are bonded to a backing plate to provide consistent material removal and even finishes. As the top layer of zirconia alumina abrasive wears away, a new layer is exposed, so these last longer than discs without flaps. A special fastener on the back of these discs allows you to easily swap one disc for another. Discs have an X-shaped arbor hole to quickly click onto X-lock grinders without a wrench or flange nuts. They’re also compatible with standard 7/8" arbor mounts.
