Pads for Aluminum, Soft Metals, and Nonmetals
The mesh in these sanding pads flexes to compensate for uneven pressure as you sand. It's embedded with silicon carbide, one of the sharpest abrasive materials. Silicon carbide cuts through soft metals and nonmetals like aluminum and rubber with ease, and it generates minimal heat to prevent material buildup. These pads can be cut to size for use with portable sanders.
7448 Durable Flex pads are thinner and more flexible than standard 7448 pads. Their thin profile wraps around tight corners and squeezes into confined spaces, making them good for sanding contoured surfaces.
Final Finish—Light cleaning, finishing, and polishing.
