The mesh in these sanding pads flexes to compensate for uneven pressure as you sand. It's embedded with silicon carbide, one of the sharpest abrasive materials. Silicon carbide cuts through soft metals and nonmetals like aluminum and rubber with ease, and it generates minimal heat to prevent material buildup. These pads can be cut to size for use with portable sanders.
7448 PRO pads have a higher concentration of abrasive grain than standard 7448 pads, allowing them to cut faster and produce a more consistent finish.
Final Finish—Light cleaning, finishing, and polishing.

When you need to achieve a more consistent finish, choose nylon mesh rolls over paper- or cloth-backed rolls. The mesh flexes to compensate for uneven sanding pressure as you sand. It's embedded with silicon carbide, one of the sharpest abrasive materials. Silicon carbide cuts through soft metals and nonmetals like aluminum and rubber with ease, and it generates minimal heat to prevent material buildup. These rolls can be cut to length.
