    Band Saw Blades for Hardened Steel, Super Alloys, and Graphite

    Carbide grit bonded to alloy steel blades cuts through hard materials such as hardened steel, graphite, fiberglass, composites, and nickel alloys including Hastelloy and Inconel. Choose medium grit for less material loss and a smooth finish; choose coarse grit for fast cutting. Blades have a welded seam and are ready to install on your saw. Use coolant (not included) when cutting metals.

    Make burr-free cuts in a variety of materials—from rubber to metal to stone. Made from a blend of silicon carbide and aluminum oxide abrasives, these cutoff wheels won’t clog or burn when slicing through nonmetals. They’re often used to cut hard or thick pipe, sheets, and bars to size.

    Made with boron nitride, second only in hardness to diamond, these wheels are highly wear resistant, so they easily cut steel with a Rockwell hardness of C50 or greater, including alloy steel, A2, D2, and T15 tool steel. While these wheels are not as hard as wheels made with diamond, they dissipate heat better.

    The combination of ceramic alumina and zirconia alumina in these wheels lasts up to ten times longer than aluminum oxide when cutting hard metal such as Inconel nickel, Hastelloy nickel, and tool steel. Wheels are reinforced with a layer of fiberglass mesh. Choose coarser grit for fast cuts; choose finer grit for smooth cuts.
