Sanitary Metal Scoops

These scoops have welded seams, rounded interiors, and polished surfaces to prevent bacterial growth and reduce foodborne illness. Use them to move, measure, or dispense bulk materials in sanitary environments, such as food processing and pharmaceutical plants. They meet NSF/ANSI 2, so they comply with strict sanitary design requirements for food equipment.
Round bottom scoops are the easiest to pour with, since contents slide to a narrow exit point.
Flat bottom scoops are the best for scooping materials from flat surfaces. They can also rest flat on a surface, so they can be used as weigh boats.
Style A are made of aluminum, so they are lightweight and more durable than plastic scoops, but less durable than other metal options. They resist corrosion in wet environments. These scoops have an ergonomic handle that keeps hands comfortable and clean while scooping for extended periods of time.
Styles B-F are made of 304 or 316 stainless steel and won’t corrode from frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners and sanitizers. 316 stainless steel scoops are the most corrosion resistant. Style B are cylindrical with a high rim near the handle to prevent material from falling onto your hand when tilted upright. Style D have an ergonomic handle that keeps hands comfortable and clean while scooping for extended periods of time. Style E have an extra-long handle that is nearly 2 ft. long. It is ideal for scooping from a distance, such as into large or deep containers.

Sanitary Scooping and Pulling Forks

Scoop or rake food products in bulk. Compliant with NSF or FDA standards for use with food, these forks are often used to empty large containers in food-processing facilities. All are autoclavable and resist corrosion from frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners.
Pulling forks have downward-bent tines for raking and dragging. Forks with a T-handle are shaped for comfort during prolonged use. Scooping forks have upward-bent tines for lifting and carrying. Forks with a D-handle provide a comfortable grip and can be hung on hooks.
Forks with stainless steel tines are highly polished and have continuously welded seams, so they have no crevices that could house bacteria. They’re reinforced with a steel bar welded across the tines for increased durability and strength. They’re often used for firm and heavy foods such as frozen meat. These forks meet NSF standards for sanitary design for food equipment.
