Sanitary Stainless Steel Truss Head Screws

Minimize bacteria and contaminants in food, pharmaceutical, and other sanitary environments. These screws are made of stainless steel, so they won't corrode from frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners and sanitizers. With an extremely smooth surface, they don't have microscopic crevices where bacteria can hide. Their wide head spreads out pressure without adding a washer and reduces the risk of crushing material, such as sheet metal. These screws have a wrench-flat drive with two shallow notches that self-drain to reduce bacterial growth. Tighten the drive with a spanner wrench.

Easy-Align Ball-Tip L-Keys

Turn screws at an angle when you can't access them head on. These L-keys have a ball tip on the long leg that engages the drive with less contact than a straight tip. They're handy for corners and tightly-packed areas, such as control panels and junction boxes. However, ball tips don't grip as tightly as straight tips and may strip the drive of the fastener if you crank them too hard. These L-keys are precision manufactured to tight tolerances. Made of high-quality hardened steel or stainless steel, they'll last a lifetime in your tool kit.

Black Phosphate-Coated Steel—Paint adheres evenly to the surface of these L-keys, so you can add your own finish. The dark, matte coating resists rust in most wet and outdoor applications. However, it won't hold up to salt water and chemicals.
