18-8 Stainless Steel Torx Flat Head Screws
These 18-8 stainless steel screws have good chemical resistance and may be mildly magnetic. All are passivated for added protection against oxidation and corrosion. A Torx-Plus drive has more points of contact than other drives, allowing you to tighten the screw without damaging the recess. For Torx tools, see Torx and Torx-Plus bits, keys, and drivers. These screws can be used with both Torx-Plus and Torx tools. Screws are angled under the head to sit flush within countersunk holes. Length is measured from the top of the head.

Torx-Plus Bits
The six rounded points fit the star-shaped recess of Torx-Plus screws. These bits have a similar profile to Torx but are not recommended for use with standard Torx screws.
Hex shank bits (also known as insert bits) are used in hand drivers or with a bit adapter in power tools.
Hex shank bits for power tools have a groove in the shank and fit directly into power tools without an adapter. They offer more reach for recessed holes and less wobble compared to a hex shank bit used with an adapter.
