18-8 Stainless Steel Torx Flat Head Screws

These 18-8 stainless steel screws have good chemical resistance and may be mildly magnetic. All are passivated for added protection against oxidation and corrosion. A Torx-Plus drive has more points of contact than other drives, allowing you to tighten the screw without damaging the recess. For Torx tools, see Torx and Torx-Plus bits, keys, and drivers. These screws can be used with both Torx-Plus and Torx tools. Screws are angled under the head to sit flush within countersunk holes. Length is measured from the top of the head.

Stainless Steel Torx Rounded Head Thread-Forming Screws for Plastic

These 18-8 stainless steel screws have good chemical resistance and may be mildly magnetic. A Torx or Torx Plus drive provides more points of contact than a Phillips drive, allowing you to apply extra force with less slippage or damage to the recess. Comparable to Plastite screws, these screws have a triangular shank that presses tightly against formable plastic such as polypropylene to resist loosening. They may have a slightly different diameter than standard screws. Length is measured from under the head.

Stainless Steel Flat Head Thread-Forming Screws for Plastic
18-8 stainless steel screws have good chemical resistance and may be mildly magnetic. They are beveled under the head for use in countersunk holes. Length is measured from the top of the head.
Comparable to Plastite screws, inch-size screws have a triangular shank that presses tightly against formable plastic, such as polypropylene, to resist loosening. They may have a slightly different diameter than screws with round shanks.
Screws with a Torx or Torx Plus drive allow you to apply extra force with less slippage or damage to the recess.

Steel Flat Head Thread-Forming Screws for Plastic
These steel screws are beveled under the head for use in countersunk holes. Length is measured from the top of the head.
Inch-size screws are comparable to Plastite screws. They have a tri-lobe shank that presses tightly against formable plastic, such as polypropylene, to resist loosening. These screws may have a slightly different diameter than screws with round shanks. Those with a Torx Plus drive allow you to apply extra force with less slippage or damage to the recess.
Zinc-plated steel screws resist corrosion in wet environments.

Steel Thread-Forming Screws for Thin Plastic

These steel screws are zinc plated to resist corrosion in wet environments. They have a round shank and more sharply angled threads than other thread-forming screws, so they require less driving torque and reduce the risk of cracking thin plastic. A Torx drive allows you to apply extra force with less slippage or damage to the recess. Length is measured from under the head.
Style A screws are also known as Delta PT® screws.

Torx Bits

Strong and durable, these multipurpose bits are often used with power tools to install sheet metal screws.
Hex shank bits (also known as insert bits) are used in hand drivers or with a bit adapter in power tools.
Hex shank bits for power tools have a groove in the shank and fit directly into power tools without an adapter. They offer more reach for recessed holes and less wobble compared to a hex shank bit used with an adapter.

Static-Control Precise-Control Screwdrivers

Also known as ESD-safe screwdrivers, the handle drains static away from your application, preventing buildup from electrostatic discharge (ESD) that can damage sensitive equipment. Press the rotating end cap on the handle with your palm to apply constant pressure while turning the body of the screwdriver with your fingertips.
Static-dissipative drivers divert static electricity faster than antistatic drivers. They meet IEC 61340-5-1 requirements for protecting electronic devices from electrostatic discharge.
Warning: Because the handle conducts electricity, screwdrivers must not come in contact with sources of electrical power.
