Manufactured and tested to meet strict U.S. military specifications for material and construction. Phillips drives have a cross-shaped opening in which a driver fits snugly for easy alignment. With four contact points, they withstand more torque than slotted drives, but drivers slip when you apply too much force.

Cadmium-Plated Steel—The plating reduces friction between the screw and your mounting surface to prevent sticking when you tighten or loosen them. It also creates a barrier against rust.
Standard Profile—Standard-profile heads are the most common choice for flat head screws.
