Manufactured and tested to meet strict U.S. military specifications for material and construction. These screws keep parts securely in place on machinery with mild vibration while keeping out contaminants and locking in air and fluid. They have a nylon-patch threadlocker bonded to the thread, saving you the time and mess of adding it yourself. Made of stainless steel, these screws won't rust or corrode when exposed to moisture and chemicals. They have a rubber O-ring under the head that compresses to form a tight seal when you fasten them. The Phillips drive is easy to align with a driver and can handle more torque than a slotted drive, but the driver can slip if you apply too much force.
Length is measured from under the head.
18-8 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these screws won't rust. However, they don't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel can.
Silicone Rubber O-Ring—Silicone rubber maintains its integrity when exposed to water and some chemicals, such as ammonium hydroxide. However, these seals degrade when exposed to oil, grease, and fuel.
