    Stainless Steel Slotted Oval Head Screws

    The most corrosion-resistant slotted oval head screws we offer. Made of stainless steel, they won't rust or corrode when exposed to moisture and chemicals. With only two contact points, the slotted drive is the most basic drive style. The slot can't withstand much torque, so it's best to hand-tighten them instead of using power tools.
    Length is measured from the top of the bevel.
    18-8 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these screws resist rust.
    Undercut—With a head that's about 20% shorter than standard-profile heads, these screws are ideal for fastening thin materials that have shallow countersunk holes. The reduced head height also gives space for more threading along the shaft, so short screws get a strong grip on thin material.

    Brass Slotted Oval Head Screws

    These brass screws have a shiny look and won't rust in damp environments. They're also conductive and nonmagnetic, making them useful for electrical applications. With only two contact points, the slotted drive is the most basic drive style. The slot can't withstand much torque, so it's best to hand-tighten them instead of using power tools.
