These slotted cheese head screws won't rust or corrode from moisture and chemicals. They have a narrow profile, so they sneak past flanges and raised surfaces without snagging. With only two contact points, the slotted drive can't withstand much torque, so it's best to hand-tighten them.

With only two contact points, the slotted drive is the most basic drive style. The slot can't withstand much torque, so it's best to hand-tighten them instead of using power tools.
