High-Force Sheet Metal Cutter Sets

Make straight and curved cuts in sheet metal—these sets come with three tools for different cutting patterns. Also called aviation snips, they have a double hinge, so they cut with more force and require less effort to squeeze the handles than standard sheet metal cutters. Their hardened blades slice through metal as hard as steel. For safety, each cutter has a latch that locks the blades closed when not in use.
All cutters in these sets make straight cuts. Cutters designed for either right or left cuts make tighter curves than cutters designed to do both right and left cuts.
Style A have straight handles. Style B have offset handles, so your hands won’t get in the way of material while making long cuts or cutting tight curves.
Spring-assisted cutters open automatically when you release the handles for quick cutting.
Cutters with serrated blades grip the edge of material to prevent slipping while cutting.

Prevent waste from flying up as you work. A double blade makes two cuts, creating a 7/64" wide strip that peels back leaving little distortion and smooth edges. Also known as aviation snips, these cutters have a double hinge that provides high cutting force with low gripping pressure. A spring opens the jaws for quick cutting, and a locking latch holds them together when the cutter is not in use. The serrated blade edge prevents slipping.
