These lugs attach to even larger wire than compression lugs, such as the 1000 MCM building wire used in large factories. They're also easier to install and reusable because you cinch the wire with a set screw rather than crushing the barrel. They don't hold the wire as securely as compression lugs, however—use them when pulling and bending aren't a concern and you need to easily break your connection for maintenance or adjustments.

Only the base with the screw hole attaches to the surface. The rest of the lug extends vertically, so you can insert or adjust the wire without your tools snagging on other connectors or components.

They're also easier to install and reusable because you cinch the wire with a set screw rather than crushing the barrel. Connect multiple wires to a single lug. The stacked design takes up less lateral space than our other lugs for multiple wires, where the holes are arranged side to side.
Set screw lugs attach to even larger wire than compression lugs, such as the 750 MCM building wire used in large factories. They're also easier to install and reusable because you cinch the wire with a set screw rather than crushing the barrel. Multi-Angle Set Screw Lugs

Image of Product. Front orientation. Terminals, Ferrules, and Lugs. Multi-Angle Set Screw Lugs.
A good choice for crowded electrical panels and enclosures, these lugs have attachment points at several different angles so you can thread your wire past nearby obstructions.
Set screw lugs are easier to install than compression lugs, and they can be reused because you don't crush the barrel to attach the wire. They don't hold the wire as securely as compression lugs, however—use them when pulling and bending aren't a concern and you need to easily break your connection for maintenance or adjustments.

    Tamper-Resistant Set Screw Lugs

Image of Product. Front orientation. Terminals, Ferrules, and Lugs. Tamper-Resistant Set Screw Lugs.
Install these lugs in outdoor utilities, public buildings, and anywhere else you need to leave your installation unmonitored. Use an L-key to tighten the set screws onto the wire. When you apply enough torque, the screw heads shear off so the connection can’t be removed or altered.
Set screw lugs attach to even larger wire than compression lugs, such as the 1000 MCM building wire used in large factories. They're also easier to install and reusable because you cinch the wire with a set screw rather than crushing the barrel. They don't hold the wire as securely as compression lugs, however—use them when pulling and bending aren't a concern and you need to easily break your connection for maintenance or adjustments.

Set Screw Lug Assortments for Transformers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Terminals, Ferrules, and Lugs. Set Screw Lug Assortments for Transformers.
These assortments include the set screw lugs, nuts, and bolts needed for single-phase and three-phase dry-type transformers (transformers that dissipate heat without using liquid).
Set screw lugs are easier to install than compression lugs, and they can be reused because you don't crush the barrel to attach the wire. They don't hold the wire as securely as compression lugs, however—use them when pulling and bending aren't a concern and you need to easily break your connection for maintenance or adjustments.

    Easy-Insert Lay-In Lugs

Connect ground wire for transformers, control panels, and other electrical distribution components without cutting and splicing. Unlike other lugs, these attach in the middle of a run of wire, not the end—just lay the stripped wire into the lug and tighten the set screw.

    Box Lugs

Image of Product. Front orientation. Terminals, Ferrules, and Lugs. Box Lugs.
These lugs are designed to slide onto grounding or neutral bars in electrical panels. They're often relied on for control panel connections, where a secure hold on the wire helps prevent loose connections, overheating, and other interruptions. To install, insert your wire then clamp it down with the set screw onto the metal bar.

To prevent short-circuiting with nearby wire, a plastic cover insulates the barrel on these welding lugs. Tighten the set screw for a secure connection without crimping.
45° Elbow—45° elbow lugs connect to wire at an angle, so they fit in tight spaces.
