    Floor Drain Trap Seals

Image of Product. Front orientation. Floor Drain Trap Seals.
Stop sewer gases from escaping through your floor drain if the P-trap dries out. Similar to a check valve, they allow liquid to drain but won’t let gases back up. They’re especially useful in infrequently used drains. To install, remove the strainer from your drain and place these seals in the opening. They have fins that grip the inside of the drain and a top ring to keep them in place. After putting the strainer back, pour water through the drain to fill the P-trap.

    ABS Threaded Cleanout Plugs

Image of Product. Recessed. Front orientation. Pipe and Fittings. ABS Threaded Cleanout Plugs.

    Recessed

Close off your drain cleanout pipe with these threaded plugs. Note: If you do not know your pipe size, measure the OD of your existing cleanout plug or the ID of your cleanout fitting and match to the value listed.
To prevent leaks in threaded connections, apply a sealant to the male threads. Threaded connections can be taken apart as needed for maintenance and repair. For metal threads, use PTFE tape. For plastic threads, apply a non-hardening, plastic-compatible sealant. Tape or sealants with PTFE are not recommended for plastic-to-plastic connections. When making a threaded connection be careful not to overtighten the threads. To prevent cracks and leaks, finger tighten the fitting, then wrench-tighten one to two turns.

    Expansion Plugs with Bypass

Image of Product. Bottom orientation. Expansion Plugs. Expansion Plugs with Bypass, Style L.

    Style L

Use the bypass tube on these plugs to add air, water, and other fluid to your pipeline or to relieve pressure while testing. The seal expands to temporarily close off pipe openings.
Style L—For Style L, twist the wing nut to expand the seal. They have a GHT bypass that connects to standard garden hoses. Ideal for pipe cleanout, they allow for easy, controlled drainage.
Maximum Air Back Pressure—Maximum air back pressure is the amount of pressure a plug can withstand without moving.
Maximum Water Back Pressure—Maximum water back pressure refers to the pressure resulting from the height of the water above the plug.

Made of cast iron, these covers are strong enough to handle high-volume foot and vehicle traffic. Use them to cover manholes on roads, parking lots, or walkways.
Gasket—Covers with a gasket are used on sanitary manholes. They prevent sewage water from leaking out and contaminating surrounding ground water.

    Floor Drain Cleanouts

Image of Product. Bottom orientation. Drain Cleanouts. Floor Drain Cleanouts.
Create an access point to inspect and clean a floor drain pipeline. The cover on these cleanouts can be adjusted up or down to sit flush with the finished floor. An ABS cleanout plug underneath the cover prevents debris from entering and sewer gases from exiting the system. These cleanouts are compatible with Schedule 40 PVC pipe for gravity-flow drain, waste, and vent applications. Attach to your unthreaded drain pipe with a PVC primer and cement (also known as solvent weld).

Flame-Retardant Drain, Waste, and Vent Polypropylene Pipe Fittings for Chemicals

Made of polypropylene, these gravity-flow fittings withstand organic solvents, such as acetone, that would dissolve CPVC pipe. They also stand up to highly corrosive acids, such as hydrochloric acid, and alkalies. All meet UL and ASTM standards for flame retardance and self-extinguishment in the case of fire. They also meet strict ASTM specifications and testing requirements for material quality and product dimensions. They’re compatible with Orion Blueline No-Hub and Orion Rionfuse chemical waste pipe and pipe fittings.
Either a clamp connector or electrofusion connector is required to connect grooved ends on adapters to pipe or to another fitting with a grooved end. Clamp connectors can be easily taken apart as needed for maintenance. Grooving tools (sold separately) prepare ungrooved ends for clamping. Electrofusion connectors create a stronger, more permanent connection than clamp connectors. Use electrofusion tools (sold separately) to weld these fittings in place.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings, flanges, and pipe with compressed air or gas.

Adapters with a threaded pipe end connect and disconnect easily on that side, no clamp or welding required. Thread sealant tape (sold separately) prevents leaks in threaded connections. To prevent overtightening that could cause cracks and leaks, first finger-tighten fittings, then turn once or twice with a wrench.

    Floor Drain Check Valves

Image of Product. Front orientation. Drain Check Valves.
Put an end to water damage from backed-up sewers. To install, place a valve into your floor drain pipe and tighten the screws—the rubber collar will expand for proper fit. When water backs up, the rubber float will rise to seal off the drain. When water recedes, the float will drop for normal drainage.
