Set Screw Shaft Couplings
Slide these couplings onto the end of your shaft and tighten the set screws to secure. Set screws bite into the shaft to hold the coupling in place. Good for high-torque applications, rigid couplings connect two shafts that are aligned, allowing for no relative movement between the shafts.
Aluminum couplings are lightweight with good corrosion resistance.

Two-Piece Shaft Couplings
Install and remove these shaft couplings without disconnecting the shafts, motors, and other attached components—they’re made in two pieces so you don’t need to slide them onto shaft ends. They’re also useful when you have limited access to the ends of the shafts. These couplings clamp onto the shafts, creating a secure hold that won’t mar them. Good for high-torque applications, they have a rigid construction. However, their rigidity means these couplings can only connect shafts that are well aligned.
Aluminum couplings are lightweight, making them useful in precision motion control and servomotor applications.

Clamping Shaft Collars

Quick-Release Clamping Shaft Collars
Installing and removing a collar is as easy as pushing down and lifting up a clamp lever. Collars clamp evenly around the shaft to create a strong, mar-free hold. All have a clamping screw to adjust lever tension. Made of anodized aluminum, they are lightweight with good corrosion resistance.

Set Screw Shaft Collars
Keep these shaft collars in place by tightening their set screw into the shaft. The tip of the screw digs in for a secure hold, but will mar the shaft’s surface. For maximum holding power, make sure the set screw material is harder than your shaft material. Use these shaft collars to position and retain power transmission components such as sprockets, pulleys, and bearings. You can also use them to limit the movement of a shaft.

Top-and-Bottom Mount Two-Piece Shaft Collars
Secure items to either side of these collars—each half has a flat end with a tapped hole. The two-piece design allows you to install them anywhere on a shaft without removing components or having access to the ends of the shaft. Tighten or loosen with the clamping screws. The two halves press evenly around the outside of shafts, so they hold tight without causing damage.

Overload-Protection Spring-Loaded Torque Limiters
Protect your machinery if there is a jam, emergency stop, or other overload by cutting off torque between shafts when a maximum torque is reached. These torque limiters automatically resume transmitting torque once it drops below the set maximum. They should not be used in applications that frequently exceed the maximum torque. Since they come factory-set to a maximum torque, there’s no adjustment required and no risk of unintended changes to the torque setting.
They act as a flexible shaft coupling, so they reduce vibration and protect components from wear by compensating for angular and parallel misalignment. Fasten to your shafts by tightening the set screws, which bite into each shaft to hold it.
Sensor rings help you detect an overload by moving only when the limiter is transmitting torque. Use a sensor (not included) to trigger an alarm or shut down when the ring stops moving.
