    EMI/RFI Shielding Gaskets

These gaskets absorb electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) to prevent inaccurate signals, flickering displays, and other electrical problems. They compress to fill gaps and complete a grounding path around doors and access panels.
    Sheets
Sheets work well between two flat surfaces.
Polyurethane Foam—Polyurethane foam gaskets are covered with either a conductive nickel/copper braided fabric or conductive aluminum foil. A nonconductive adhesive holds them in place. To protect sensitive equipment, they block at least twice as much interference as urethane foam gaskets. Cut these gaskets to length with scissors.
Silicone Rubber—Silicone rubber sheets are embedded with conductive nickel wire. They block the most interference of our shielding gaskets and also seal out moisture. One side is smooth; the other is rough to help adhesives stick. They meet AMS, ASTM, and military standards for materials.
Adhesive Backing—Adhesive-back gaskets stick to flat surfaces.
UL 94 V-0—Gaskets that meet UL 94 V-0 self-extinguish within 10 seconds if they catch fire and won’t spread the fire by dripping.

Half-round gaskets work well in grooves. Use a gasket slightly thicker than the depth of the groove; it will compress to fill the gap.

To protect sensitive equipment, they block at least twice as much interference as urethane foam gaskets. Cut these gaskets to length with scissors.

Conductive Surface Filler Pens for Electronics

Image of Product. Front orientation. Surface Fillers. Conductive Surface Filler Pens for Electronics, Acrylic Plastic.

    Acrylic Plastic

Dispense ready-to-use conductive liquid to fill pits and small gaps on circuit board components. These pens are also used to sketch and repair conductive pathways.
Nickel Filled—Nickel acrylic plastic pens are best for general purpose repairs, such as bridges and traces in printed circuit boards. They have a medium surface resistivity, so they're a good balance between carbon acrylic and silver epoxy pens.
Cannot Be Sold To—Product labeling requirements restrict sales to the listed areas.

    EMI/RFI Shielding Conformal Coatings

Image of Product. Front orientation. Conformal Coatings. EMI/RFI Shielding Conformal Coatings.
Protect sensitive electronic parts, enclosures, and prototypes from electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) with these coatings. Also known as conductive paint, these coatings block EMI and RFI from disrupting electrical, data, and radio signals, which can cause circuit malfunctioning and data loss.
For best adhesion, apply to clean, oil-free surfaces. If applying to highly chemical-resistant plastics such as PVC and PTFE, use a primer first.
Nickel Acrylic Plastic—Nickel acrylic plastic coatings are made with nickel flakes mixed with acrylic. They’re the best in our offering for protecting magnetic components, since they absorb and redirect magnetic fields. While not as conductive as silver acrylic plastic coatings, they still protect against a broad spectrum of EMI and RFI frequencies. Use them to repair small circuits on circuit boards and to coat devices such as meter and scanner housings. They have good corrosion resistance.
Cannot Be Sold To—Coatings that cannot be sold to the listed areas are restricted by product labeling requirements.
