PPE Category 1—Vests that are rated PPE Category 1 provide light protection against arc flashes. Made of mesh acrylic, these vests are self-extinguishing. They are stitched with Nomex thread for added durability. They have hook and loop closures down the front and one waist pocket.
PPE Category 4—Vests that are rated PPE Category 4 provide the highest level of protection from arc flashes. Rated NFPA 2112, they also protect against flash fires. They’re made of modacrylic/aramid which is more durable and flame resistant than acrylic vests. You’ll stay dry thanks to the water-resistant coating. These vests have a lightweight and breathable cotton liner for added comfort. They have a zipper down the front, one chest pocket, and two waist pockets.
NFPA 70E—Vests are rated NFPA 70E to protect your torso against flames and arc flash.
ANSI/ISEA 107—These vests meet ANSI/ISEA 107, so they've passed tests for visibility at high speeds and distances. That means you'll be seen by fast-moving vehicles or from across the shop floor.
Fluorescent Yellow—These vests are fluorescent yellow with reflective stripes, so you’ll stand out in risky areas with low visibility.
Arc-Rated PPE Category—Choose a vest that meets the arc rated personal protective equipment (PPE) category required by your workplace.
Arc Rating—The higher the arc rating, the greater the flame resistance. Wear these vests over flame-and arc-flash rated long-sleeve shirts or sweatshirts to meet the specified arc rating.

Stay visible even in dirty working conditions—these shirts are coated to resist oil, grease, and antifreeze. Thanks to their fluorescent yellow fabric and reflective stripes, they meet Class 2 ANSI/ISEA 107. This means that when you wear them, you'll be seen from across the shop floor or from moving vehicles. To keep you cool, they’re made of a moisture-wicking polyester/cotton blend. A mesh panel on the upper back increases air flow for even more cooling, and it stretches as you move. The snaps are hidden to keep them from scratching equipment while you work. These shirts have a UPF 40 rating, so they block up to 98% of UV rays to shield your skin.

Keep cool and be seen—these vests protect you from the heat and help you stand out when visibility is low.
Style A—Style A vests hold water that slowly evaporates to keep you cool for up to four hours. Soak them in cold water for a few minutes, and polymer crystals in the fabric will absorb large amounts of water. As you move, airflow creates a cool, damp sensation to lower your body temperature. A polyester/nylon shell won’t weigh you down, and a mesh bottom helps with ventilation.
Style B—Style B vests hold cooling packs that stay at 58° F for up to three hours. You can use these both indoors and outdoors as they don’t require airflow to cool you down. Their polyester exterior helps keep water out while a cotton liner has a thermal layer to keep you cool. They come with an insulated cooler bag to keep packs cold before use. To keep cool for longer, keep replacement cooling packs on hand.
