    Desktop Cranes

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Cranes. Desktop Cranes .
Mount these cranes to a workbench or utility cart to lift and position loads in tight workspaces. They’re often used in repair or assembly tasks to lift heavy tools and parts. Their compact size makes them easy to move from one base to another. Additional bases are sold separately. Turn the hand wheel clockwise to lift your load. An automatic brake holds your load securely in place when you let go of the wheel. These cranes rotate a full 360°, making it easy to position a load on your workbench or on nearby equipment such as a CNC machine.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

    Lever Lowering Mechanism

Cranes with a roller chain winch move at a more consistent speed than those with a wire rope winch. Since the roller chain moves around a sprocket, raising loads doesn’t require additional force as you go—unlike wire rope on a spool.
Lever Lowering Mechanism—Cranes with a lever lowering mechanism require you to release the brake lever next to the hand wheel. As you do, lightly press your palm on the hand wheel to control how fast your load descends.

    Lever Lowering Mechanism

    Hand-Winch Lowering

    Mechanism

Cranes with a wire rope winch are best for dirty environments because there are no chain links that could trap debris. These cranes also move more smoothly, because there’s less jerking as the wire rope moves around the spool than there is with a roller chain on a sprocket.
Lever Lowering Mechanism—Cranes with a lever lowering mechanism require you to release the brake lever next to the hand wheel. As you do, lightly press your palm on the hand wheel to control how fast your load descends.
Hand-Winch Lowering Mechanism—Cranes with a hand-winch lowering mechanism are easier to use and give you more control than cranes that lower with a lever. Simply turn the hand wheel counterclockwise to lower.

    Articulating Desktop Cranes

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Cranes. Articulating Desktop Cranes .
With two joints that each rotate 360°, these cranes make it easy to position a load exactly where you need it. Unlike standard desktop cranes that swing loads in a circle at a fixed distance, these cranes let you place it almost anywhere within their arm’s reach. Mount them to workbenches and utility carts to save room in tight workspaces. They’re often used to raise heavy tools and parts for repair or assembly. Since they’re compact, they’re easy to move from one base to another. Additional bases are sold separately. Turn the hand wheel clockwise to raise a load and counterclockwise to lower it. An internal brake controls the descent, keeping it slow and steady, and holds the load in place if you let go of the hand wheel.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

    Electric Winch Cranes

No hand-cranking needed—simply push a button on the handheld control to lift or lower a heavy load. These cranes are also known as davit cranes. The automatic brake holds your load securely in place when you’re not moving it up or down. For precise positioning in all directions, these cranes rotate a full 360°. The arm can be adjusted to four different heights depending on your needs.
Note: Capacity is highest for the first layer of rope and decreases as each additional layer of rope is wound on the winch. There are at least five wraps of rope on the winch.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Position loads and maneuver with ease in tight spaces. Instead of long legs, these cranes are balanced with a counterweight in the back. The added room in front means you can push these cranes against surfaces to maximize the arm’s reach. No need for a hoist: a battery-powered hydraulic pump raises and lowers the arm to move loads. This means you can lift heavy parts regardless of whether an outlet’s nearby. To extend the reach of the arm – also known as the boom – manually adjust it between four positions. These cranes have an emergency stop button that quickly prevents them from moving any further if there's a risk of collision. Lock the caster wheels to keep them from rolling while lifting.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Save your back from loading toolboxes, generators, and other heavy items into your truck. These cranes slide right into your hitch—no need to modify your vehicle to mount them. Designed with an offset, you can lower the tailgate fully with the crane installed. Mount the crane to lift from the right or the left side of the truck depending on your task. Also known as davit cranes, they have a hand winch to raise the load, and an automatic brake holds the load securely when you release the handle.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

From navigating around your facility to raising heavy loads, every movement these cranes make is fully powered. They have a battery-powered hydraulic pump that keeps movements consistent and controlled, including when you’re moving the arm in, out, up, and down to position loads. On a single charge, their battery lasts for four hours of continuous use or eight hours of intermittent use. Turn the throttle to adjust the speed of travel and push buttons to position the arm.
To prevent collisions when moving these cranes in reverse, hit the emergency safety switch to quickly move them forward in the opposite direction. You can also sound the horn to alert people nearby. There’s no need to worry about them rolling away from you—an automatic brake stops them from moving as soon as you let go of the handle. Adjust the length of the legs to distribute loads more evenly, reducing the risk that these cranes will tip.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Wind Winch with Power Drill or Handle

    (Drill Not Included)

At half the weight of standard hand-winch cranes with similar capacity, these cranes are easier to move from one base to another. Also known as davit cranes, they have a handle you crank to raise and lower the load. An automatic brake holds your load securely in place when you release the handle. For positioning in all directions, these cranes rotate a full 360°, and the arm adjusts to four different lengths. To quicken your set up, use a power drill to wind the winch or lengthen the arm for you. They're aluminum, so they also resist corrosion.
Note: Capacity is highest for the first layer of rope and decreases as each additional layer of rope is wound on the winch. There are at least five wraps of rope on the winch.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Adjust the arm in, out, up, and down even under load. These cranes are designed for precise positioning adjustments—no need to fully lower the arm and detach your load. For even more positioning flexibility in all directions, these cranes also rotate a full 360°. An automatic brake holds your load securely in place when you release the handle. To quicken your set up, use a power drill to wind the winch or lengthen the arm for you. Also known as davit cranes.
