Slotted-Drive Cam Locks

Open these locks with a slotted screwdriver. Select the turn direction when mounting the cam.
Chrome-plated zinc locks come with one curved cam, which enables them to act like push-to-close locks. Although you can push them closed, you still need a slotted screwdriver to open them.

Square-Drive Cam Locks

These locks open with a square key, so they're more secure than locks that open with a hex or slotted driver yet still match a common keying system for industrial enclosures and other machinery.
Locks with a fixed latching distance are best when you know the precise distance you need. Since you won’t have to adjust the cam into position, these are faster to install than those with an adjustable latching distance.
Locks with a curved cam push closed without a tool or key. When pushed, the curved design lets the cam pivot slightly around the strike plate, securing the lock. To open them, turn the latch—the cam springs back so it's ready to be pushed closed again.

Hex-Drive Cam Locks

For a simplified keying system, these cam locks open with a hex key (not included).
