This hard plastic edge trim prevents denting and wear on everything from enclosure panels to safety mirrors. It stands up to knocks and scrapes over longer periods than our rubber and foam trim, though it doesn’t offer the same protective cushion when people and parts bump against it.

Slippery MDS-Filled Nylon—Install this extremely smooth trim on conveyor guides, flow rails, and lane dividers to help ease parts around corners and curves.
High-Temperature Slippery PTFE—Stays strong and flexible at temperatures about twice as high as our other plastic trim. It’s also the slipperiest edge trim we offer, so it helps maintain a constant flow of parts on chutes, slides, and other conveying equipment.
Hardness Rating—The harder the edge trim, the better it withstands impact and abrasion over time. The softer the edge trim, the more cushioning it provides for fragile materials such as glass and thin metal.

    Magnet-Mount Flexible Wear Plates

Image of Product. Front orientation. Wear Plates. Magnet-Mount Flexible Wear Plates.
Easily attach, move, and replace these magnetic wear plates on metal surfaces to minimize friction—simply press them on and peel them off as needed. Often found on conveyor systems and chutes, use these plates where friction between two parts or materials is wearing down equipment to extend equipment life. All of these plates have an extra-hard rating to withstand high levels of impact. They are flexible enough to bend around a curve. They're also nonmarking.
Silicone Rubber-Filled UHMW Polyethylene—UHMW polyethylene plates with silicone filler are more slippery than the standard UHMW plates. Objects with adhesives and labels on them will not stick to them to prevent backups on conveyors and chutes.

    Chemical-Resistant Ultra-Low-Friction PTFE U-Channels

Image of Product. Front orientation. Plastic. Chemical-Resistant Ultra-Low-Friction PTFE U-Channels.
With a naturally slippery surface, these PTFE U-channels are useful in fabrications that require sliding action, such as frames for panel doors. They surpass most plastic when it comes to chemical resistance and performance in extreme temperatures. They’re also excellent electrical insulators and easy to machine.

Plastic Edge Trim for Food and Beverage

Image of Product. Front orientation. Edge Trim. Plastic Edge Trim for Food and Beverage, Style 11.

    Style 11

Protect the edges of equipment in food and beverage plants from bumps and scrapes. This trim is made of smooth, nonporous plastic to prevent bacteria from growing, and it's FDA compliant for direct contact with food. It stands up to impact and abrasion over longer periods than our rubber and foam trim, though it doesn’t offer the same protective cushion when people and parts bump against it.
