    Lever Actuator Style

Smaller than standard snap-acting switches, these switches trigger actions in tight spaces. They’re used in components as small as computer mice and engine restart switches. They open and close circuits faster than other switches, preventing contacts from sticking by reducing the time that they're near one another. These switches also minimize the chance of arcing, so electricity won’t jump across contacts.
Plunger Actuator Style—Switches with a plunger actuator send a signal when the actuator is pushed directly downward. They have the smallest actuator of the actuators here, reducing the risk of accidental switching.
Lever Actuator Style—Switches with a lever actuator have a larger surface area than switches with a plunger actuator and can be pushed down by front-to-back movement, so they require less precision to activate.

    Paddle Lever Actuator Style

Smaller and more sensitive than standard snap-acting switches, these switches fit in tight spaces and actuate from light pressure. Snap-acting switches quickly open or close circuits to reduce arcing and keep contacts from sticking.
Plunger Actuator Style—Switches with a plunger actuator require a push to activate, similar to a button.
Roller Lever Actuator Style—Switches with a roller lever actuator use a lever with a roller at the end to activate. This allows parts to glide across the actuation surface with minimal friction, limiting wear and tear.
Simulated Roller Lever Actuator Style—Switches with a simulated roller lever actuator have a curved arm that can be pressed down for actuation by forward, backward, and repeated back-and-forth movement.
Paddle Lever Actuator Style—Switches with a paddle lever actuator actuate when material moves over the arm, which has the largest actuation area of our lever snap-acting switches. They’re often used in HVAC applications where airflow interacts with the paddle to actuate the switch.

Open and close circuits in a snap. These switches actuate quickly to minimize arcing and prevent contacts from sticking. They’re often used to indicate that an appliance or enclosure door is open. You can also use them inside limit, pressure, and temperature switches.
Plunger Actuator Style—Switches with a plunger actuator require a push to actuate, similar to a button.
Roller Lever Actuator Style—Switches with a roller lever actuator combine the larger actuation area of a standard lever with a smooth gliding roller actuator. They minimize friction to limit wear and tear on your switch.
Wobble Stick Actuator Style—Switches with a wobble stick actuator have a flexible arm that can actuate from any direction.
Plastic Covers—Plastic covers (sold separately) are compatible with switches with screw terminals. They fit over the bottom of the switch to prevent contact with live terminals.

    Roller Lever Actuator

    Style

At least 25% smaller than our Miniature Snap-Acting Switches, these switches are often used to trigger actions from inside a vehicle’s door or an engine compartment. They open and close circuits faster than other switches, preventing contacts from sticking by reducing the time that they're near one another. They also minimize the chance of arcing, so electricity won’t jump across contacts.
Plunger Actuator Style—Plunger actuator switches send a signal when the actuator is pushed directly downward. They have the smallest actuator of the actuators here, reducing the risk of accidental switching.
Lever Actuator Style—Lever actuator switches have a larger surface area than plunger actuator switches and can be pushed down by front-to-back movement, so they require less precision to activate.
Roller Lever Actuator Style—Roller lever actuator switches allow parts to glide across the actuation surface with less friction than standard levers. This prevents wear and tear over time.

Open and close circuits in a snap—even in harsh conditions. With a rubber-encased housing and stainless steel bracket, these switches handle high vibrations and resist corrosion. They’re rated IP68 for protection from dust and temporary submersion. Because they open and close circuits faster than other switches—reducing the time that contacts are near one another—they prevent contacts from sticking. They also minimize the chance of arcing, so electricity won’t jump across contacts. They’re often used as door-open indicators on enclosures or as an internal component in limit, pressure, and temperature switches.
Lever Actuator Style—Lever actuator switches can be pushed down by front-to-back movement, so they can be activated with pressure anywhere along their length.
Roller Lever Actuator Style—Roller lever actuator switches activate when parts glide front-to-back across their actuation surface. They produce less friction than standard levers, which prevents wear and tear over time.
Simulated Roller Lever Actuator Style—Simulated roller lever actuator switches have a curved arm that can be pressed down for actuation by forward, backward, and repeated back-and-forth movement.

    Panel-Mount Sealed Wet-Location Limit Switches

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Limit Switches. Panel-Mount Sealed Wet-Location Limit Switches.
Sealed actuators prevent these switches from jamming, even when exposed to oil, sand, mud, or ice. They send a signal to your circuit when an object hits the actuator—for instance, a box on a conveyor runs into the switch, stopping the conveyor. They open and close circuits as fast as snap-acting switches, but they have a bigger actuator for large objects. To actuate, they require a push, similar to a button. Rated IP68, they’re protected against dust and temporary submersion.
Stainless Steel Housing—Switches with a stainless steel housing stand up better to wear and tear and corrosion better than switches with a zinc-plated steel housing.
