Steel Snap-In Nuts

Snap these nuts—also known as cage nuts—into square holes in thin material. They’re often used to mount servers and other equipment in electronics racks. Threads float inside the cage, so you can fasten a bolt at a slight angle to align off-center parts. Mounting legs expand to lock these nuts in place.
Install these nuts by hand, with pliers, or with a snap-in nut installation and removal tool.
Zinc-plated steel nuts resist corrosion in wet environments.

No-Slip Clip-On Enclosed Hex Nuts

Also known as S-nuts, these nuts have the strongest grip of any of our clip-on nuts. They firmly squeeze both sides of a thin panel to create a secure fastening point for screws.
Cadmium-plated steel nuts are more corrosion resistant in wet environments than zinc-plated steel nuts. The plating also adds slipperiness, making them easy to slide onto a panel.

Flanged Push Nuts

A flange distributes the load over a large area and reduces stress where the nut meets the material surface. Push them over threads to hold fasteners in light-duty holding applications. A zinc plating provides corrosion resistance in wet environments.
