Socket Extensions

Attach these extensions to your socket for a longer reach. Use with hand-drive tools only.
Chrome-plated extensions have a smooth, shiny surface that resists corrosion and is easy to clean.
Black-oxide extensions aren’t as smooth as chrome-plated extensions, so they’re easier to grip when dirty or wet. Oil them periodically to maintain their corrosion resistance.

Electrical-Insulating Socket Extensions

Safely extend your reach in areas where you could accidentally come into contact with live circuits. These extensions are tested to 1,000 volts to meet IEC 60900 and ASTM F1505 standards. This means you can use them for working on or near live parts. Use them with hand-drive tools only.

Secure-Hold Socket Extension Sets

Reach a variety of spots with the confidence that your extension won’t disengage. Also known as positive-locking extensions, these extensions hold sockets in place with a ball that only retracts when you pull the collar down. They lock to your socket more securely than other extensions. Use them only with hand-drive tools.

Secure-Hold Socket Extensions

Lock your socket into these extensions to prevent accidental disengagement. Also known as positive-locking extensions, they have a ball that secures your socket and only retracts when you pull the collar back. This creates a stronger hold than standard extensions. Use them with hand-drive tools only.

Square Drive Adapters for Power Tools

Attach your square-drive sockets to drills, powered screwdrivers, and other tools that accept a hex shank. Not for use with impact tools.
Adapters with a pin style retainer provide a more secure hold than ball detent style because you have to depress the pin to attach or remove the socket. Also called positive locking.

Square Drive Size Adapters

Convert from one square drive size to another. The female side of the adapter attaches to your wrench; the male side to your socket. These adapters have a finish that provides some corrosion resistance. Black-oxide adapters are easy to grip when dirty or wet.

Impact Socket Extensions

Attach to your socket for a longer reach. These extensions are made to withstand the high torque and force of impact tools.
3/4", 1", and 1 1/2" square drive size extensions require a locking retainer. Use with an impact wrench that has a pin-style socket retainer, or use a socket retaining ring with tools that have a hole- or hole-and-ring style socket retainer.

Secure-Hold Impact Socket Extensions

Lock your socket into the extension to prevent accidental disengagement. Locked in place by a ball that retracts when the collar is pulled (also called positive locking), these sockets hold more securely than our standard extensions. These extensions are thicker than standard extensions, and also have enough give to flex under high force without breaking. This makes them a good choice for use with impact tools.

Impact Socket Extension Sets

Reach a variety of spots by keeping common extension lengths on hand. To withstand the high torque and force of impact tools without fracturing, these extensions are thicker and flex more than extensions for manual drivers.

Secure-Hold Impact Socket Extension Sets

Also known as positive-locking extensions, these extensions hold sockets in place with a ball that only retracts when you pull the collar down. Designed to prevent accidental detachment, they lock to your socket more securely than other extensions. They’re thicker and less brittle than manual extensions, so they withstand the high torque and force of impact tools. They flex slightly when force is applied, so they’re less likely to break. Each set includes three common extension lengths to tackle a variety of jobs.

Impact Square Drive Adapters for Air Hammers

Use the pulsing of an air hammer along with the controlled turning of a hand wrench to release stuck fasteners without breaking them. These adapters give you better handling than an impact wrench plus more power than turning just by hand. Attach the square drive to your impact-rated socket and insert the round shank into the chuck of your air hammer. As you hammer, use a wrench to turn the hex portion of the adapter to control the socket. Adapters have a 0.401" round shank that fits the most common air hammers.
