Acetone—Degreasers with acetone evaporate quickly without leaving a residue. They are often used to clean bearings and other metal parts.

Trans-Dichloroethylene—Degreasers with trans-dichloroethylene are often used in the mining, oil, and gas industries because they are nonflammable and evaporate rather than requiring rinsing.

Soybean Oil—Degreasers with soybean oil are an economical alternative to degreasers with citrus oil. They leave a coating that helps prevent rust and are also nonflammable.

NSF Registered K1—Degreasers that are NSF registered K1 can be used in non-food-processing areas within food-processing facilities. They have a flip-up straw that’s attached to the nozzle, so it won’t get lost. Raise it for precision dispensing; lower it for storage or to dispense degreaser as a spray.

NSF Registered K2—Degreasers that are NSF registered K2 can be used in food-processing environments.

Citrus Scent—Degreasers with a citrus scent contain citrus oil to dissolve adhesives, tars, and waxes. They are nonflammable and free of harmful vapors. Rinse parts and wipe them clean after degreasing.

Adhesive Removers


Aerosol Can	Spray Bottle	Bottle	Jug

Remove adhesives and residue from a broad range of surfaces. These removers are effective on common adhesives, such as those found on labels and tape.

Easy-Peel Adhesive Removers—Cleanly peel away tape, labels, and other adhesives without leaving any residue behind. These are our most surface-safe removers—they break the adhesive’s surface bond rather than dissolving the adhesive. They have the mildest odor of our removers and do not need to be rinsed after use.

Citrus Oil—The most common general purpose adhesive removers. They’re safe for most hard and soft surfaces and have a mild citrus odor. However, they leave an oily residue and should be rinsed with soap and water after use.

Acetone—Our fastest-acting adhesive removers. They work on hard surfaces and don’t require rinsing after use, but they have a strong odor and can damage paint, coatings, and finishes. Higher concentrations are more aggressive on both the adhesive and the underlying surface.

Spray these adhesive primers onto a mounting surface to quickly and smoothly apply signs, labels, and protective films. These primers float adhesive-backed sheets above a surface until you press them down, giving you time to position the sheet and remove any wrinkles. Since the sheet doesn’t stick right away, you can apply large sheets without needing a second pair of hands. These primers also work with non-adhesive films. Even in hot or cold temperatures, your sheet will stay put.

Clean the mounting surface with adhesive primer before applying a film, so no residue is trapped underneath. Use a smoothing tool (sold separately) to squeeze out air bubbles and excess fluid. Drying time depends on application—most decals and films will dry within 90 seconds, but 3D printer sheets should dry for 24 hours before printing.

High-Purity Degreasers for Removing Long-Lasting Lubricants

Often used to clean lubricants off compressed gas equipment and fittings, these solvent-based degreasers have a contaminant concentration below 1 ppm to ensure no residue or particles are left behind that can hinder the operation of valves, sensors, and controls. They contain Vertrel™ to remove long-lasting lubricants, such as DuPont/Chemours Krytox. They are nonflammable and less hazardous than other solvents that remove lubricants, such as nPB, PERC, and TCE.
