    Insulating Sleeve Washers

    Cover screw threads to stop electrical current in its tracks and prevent short circuits. These washers create a barrier between the screw threads and the mating surface when mounted in through holes. This barrier also extends the life of your assembly by preventing galvanic corrosion, which is when two different metals rust more quickly due to contact with each other.

    Shims for Lengthening Screw Shoulders

    When shoulders come up short, use these shims to extend the shoulder length on your screw. Wiggle the shims over the threads and up to the existing shoulder to create the exact shoulder length you need. Use them to create more space for bearings, pulleys, and sprockets, or extend the length of travel along the shoulder.
    You can stack multiple shims to achieve the exact shoulder length or space you need.
    Stress-Resistant Spring Steel—These shims are harder and hold their shape better than carbon steel. Use them for high-stress applications, such as leveling heavy machinery. They're best for dry environments since moisture will cause them to rust.

    Plastic Washers

    All of these washers are lightweight, nonconductive, and naturally rust resistant. They are commonly used in electronics and automation applications to take the pressure off screws and nuts and protect mounting surfaces.
    Chemical-Resistant High-Temperature PTFE—The most chemical-resistant plastic washers we offer, these stand up to the widest range of harsh acids, bases, solvents, and corrosive cleaners, even at temperatures up to 500° F.     Wave Disc Springs

    Multiple contact points spread the load evenly, so these springs balance support better than curved disc springs. They also handle higher thrust loads than wave spring lock washers.
    To increase your working load, nest multiple springs on top of each other. Multiply the working load by the number of springs to find your new total. If you need to increase both working load and deflection, consider Stacked Wave Disc Springs instead.
