    15° Index Increments

Used with a 5C collet (sold separately), these fixtures rotate round, hex, or square workpieces up to 1 1/8" diameter in precise increments. Also known as spindexers or punch formers, they are commonly used to drill holes into cylindrical parts, grind punches into precision shapes, and sharpen drill bits and end mills. To ensure accurate rotation, spindles are precision ground. Mount fixtures to a machine table for horizontal orientation or an angle plate for vertical. A through-hole accommodates long workpieces.
1° Index Increments—Fixtures with 1° index increments have an indexing plate with 36 holes for rotating in 10° steps and 10 additional holes for 1° refinements.
15° Index Increments—Fixtures with 15° index increments have 24 locking positions.

    Heavy Duty Tilting Table

Turn workpieces 360° for precise alignment during milling, drilling, and grinding. With finely ground worm gears, these tables give you fine control of your workpiece’s alignment to fractions of a degree. The gears also keep the tabletop from moving once your workpiece is in position, even if you bump it or press against it while you machine. Markings on the handle’s dial and the tabletop’s edge tell you how far you’ve moved, so you don’t overshoot your mark. The tabletop and base are ground so flat their surfaces vary less than the thickness of a single sheet of copy paper, so they give you the flattest and squarest possible surface for accurate work. The base also has both keyways and bolt slots to mount these tables in both vertical and horizontal orientations.
Heavy Duty Table—These tables move in smaller increments for finer control than our standard rotary tables. They’re also machined three times flatter, virtually eliminating uneven positioning. Once the table is in position, dual locks prevent even the slightest table rotation. Hardened and oil-immersed gears extend their life, especially in high-demand machining.
Heavy Duty Tilting Table—The same upgraded performance as our heavy duty standard tables but with an adjustable tilt. Tilt these tables between 0° and 90° to cut your workpieces at an angle. Compared to our standard rotary tables, these move in smaller increments for finer control. They’re also machined three times flatter to virtually eliminate uneven positioning. Dual locks prevent even the slightest table rotation after the table is in position. Hardened and oil-immersed gears extend their life, especially in high-demand machining.
Gear Ratio—Gear ratio describes how far the table rotates with every turn of the handle. For example, a 90:1 gear ratio means a 90° turn of the handle rotates the table 1°.
Tailstocks—Support long workpieces to improve stability during indexing and machining.

    Indexer with Workpiece

Transform your machine vise into an indexing system in seconds. These indexers help you position round workpieces at precise, repeatable angles for machining flats, hexes, and key slots. Slide them onto the end of a workpiece and secure with the set screw. These indexers attach directly to your workpiece, so you can move them from setup to setup without losing your reference point. These indexers are etched with graduation marks up to 360° so you can line up your workpiece with a machinist square. A hex, square, and octagon are cut into the face, so you don’t need to check the graduations for 45°, 60°, or 90° increments.

    Electric Welding Positioners

Mount a workpiece on these motorized turntables for smooth and continuous 360° rotary motion useful for creating circular welds. Turntables tilt and lock in place at angles up to 90° in 15° increments. Once the workpiece is attached to the turntable or chuck, press the foot pedal to start the motor. As the part rotates, your hands are free to focus on the weld.
Load capacity is reduced as the table is tilted.

    Indexing Jaw-Chuck Fixtures

More flexible than indexing collet fixtures for workholding—these fixtures hold a wide range of part sizes without swapping out collets. Also known as spindexers, they’re often used to drill hole patterns, shape punches, and sharpen cutting tools. With three jaws that move together, the chuck auto-centers parts and even grips workpieces that are out-of-round or have rough surfaces. Ground to tight tolerances, the base sits flat when mounted to machine tables in either a horizontal or vertical position, preventing misalignment. With a hole through their center, they have no trouble holding long parts too. The chuck comes off, so you can also use them as rotary tables.

    Stationary Clamping Jaw Fixtures

Mount these fixtures to a milling machine, drill press, or other flat surface and use the jaws to grip workpieces. Their low-profile design maximizes tool clearance, which helps you machine efficiently. The jaws are precision ground to tight tolerances for repeatable centering that’s accurate within 0.02 mm. These fixtures are self-centering—they use scroll actuation, which means that all jaws move in unison to center the workpiece as they close.
Each fixture comes with reversible jaws, which you can install for either an inside or outside grip. Use the included wrench to open or close the jaws.

    Tilting Table

These tables do it all. They rotate 360° and slide on the X-Y axes to position your work with exact alignment. Cut with trapezoid-shaped Acme threads, the internal X-Y screws minimize backlash and won’t deform. They’re precision ground to ensure accurate cuts every time.
Mount these tables on your milling machine, drill press, or grinder. They reduce the height of your setup by over 30% compared to stacking rotary and milling tables. Balanced to prevent unintentional movement, the crank handles take less effort to turn than hand wheels. With bulbous grips, these handles fit comfortably in your palm. Graduations engraved on the bases of the handle and table help you line up your work in fractions of a degree. Tighten the locking clamp on the side of the table base to keep the table steady as you machine.
Tilting Table—The most versatile tables we offer. They also tilt in 1° increments to any angle between 0° and 90°, so you can machine parts from any direction. Tighten the hex bolts on the side plates to keep the table at your desired tilt.
Gear Ratio—Gear ratio describes how far the table rotates with every turn of the handle. For example, a 90:1 gear ratio means a 90° turn of the handle rotates the table 1°.

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Tailstocks.
Stabilize long workpieces for precise machining. These tailstocks hold your workpiece by its end to keep it straight and aligned. Adjust the center height to use them with a variety of rotary tables, indexing heads, and other fixture setups. Made of cast iron, they resist vibration and wear, so they’ll hold up to heavy duty machining tasks.
