Tight-Tolerance Hardened Multipurpose 4140 Alloy Steel Sheets and Bars

Also known as flat stock, the thickness on these sheets and bars is held to a tight tolerance. They are hardened for increased abrasion and impact resistance. Made from versatile alloy steel, also known as chrome-moly steel, these sheets and bars resist fracturing from repeated stress. They’re used for a wide range of parts, including molds and structural supports. They’ve been manufactured to meet ASTM standards for quality and performance.

Note: Sheets and bars may be made from either 4140 or 4142 alloy steel. They are interchangeable in most applications.
