About Measuring Hose and Tube Clamps
What's the best way to determine the clamp size you'll need? Simply measure the outside diameter of your hose with the fitting installed. Some clamps accommodate a range of sizes, so be sure the size you need falls in the middle of that range.

Choose-a-Color Metal Strapping
Red for perishable goods, green for rush delivery, orange for hazards—create your own color-coding system with this vibrant strapping. Use it to prevent mix-ups with shipments and make pallets easy to spot.
Made of plastic-coated 201 stainless steel, it combines the strength of metal with the weather resistance of plastic. It won’t stretch or snap from heavy loads or weaken from rust when exposed to rain, snow, or humidity. The colored plastic won’t chip off or fade.
Unlike most metal strapping, the edges are rounded, so it’s safer to handle and less likely to slice into cardboard and other soft material.
You'll need a tensioner to tighten the strapping and a seal to secure it.
Note: Strapping tensioners, seals, kits, and dispensers are sold separately.
Banding for Build-Your-Own Low-Profile Band Clamps for Firm Hose
Keep this banding on hand for both permanent connections and emergency repairs. You'll need an installation tool and a buckle (both sold separately) to create a band clamp. Banding comes in a dispenser carton. It has smooth, rounded edges to protect your hose from cuts.
201 stainless steel banding has good corrosion resistance.
Black polyester-coated 201 stainless steel banding has excellent abrasion and UV resistance.
Note: The breaking strength listed is the maximum tension that can be applied to the banding. For an extra-strong clamp, wrap the banding around twice, threading it through the buckle each time.

Extra-Strength Low-Profile Band Clamps for Firm Hose
The end of the band curls back into the buckle—this gives these clamps up to 25% more strength than other low-profile clamps. They are also known as JS-style clamps. Unlike worm-drive clamps and bolt clamps, these have a low profile with no protruding parts. A smooth interior prevents damage to the hose. Clamps are for firm plastic and rubber hose. They require an installation tool (sold separately).

Low-Profile Band Clamps for Firm Hose
Easier to install than our Extra-Strength Low-Profile Band Clamps, these clamps seal with a quick hammer blow to the buckle. They are also known as center-punch clamps.
Unlike worm-drive clamps and bolt clamps, these have a low profile with no protruding parts to get in your way during installation. The banding is double wrapped for extra strength. Use them to secure firm plastic and rubber hose, coaxial cable, and rope. Clamps require an installation tool (sold separately).
201 and 300 series stainless steel clamps have very good corrosion resistance.

General Purpose Worm-Drive Clamps with

Easy-Turn Worm-Drive Clamps for Firm Hose and Tube
Twist the thumb head with your fingers to tighten these clamps. Once tightened, remove the thumb head to minimize your clamp’s profile and make it harder to tamper with. They're 201 and 301 stainless steel for very good corrosion resistance.
Note: When choosing a clamp, measure the outside diameter of your hose or tube with the fitting installed.

Worm-Drive Clamps for Soft Hose and Tube
An extended tail acts as a liner to protect hose and tube from being cut by the slots in the band. These clamps are best for soft hose and tube but also work with firm hose and tube.
Do not exceed the maximum torque or clamps may be damaged.
Zinc-plated steel offers fair corrosion resistance.
201, 301, and 305 stainless steel have very good corrosion resistance.
