Beam Mount |
These OSHPD preapproved anchors and brackets support threaded-rod-mount hangers during seismic activity. A complete seismic bracing mount system consists of an upper bracket, a lower bracket, and strut or pipe (sold separately). Brackets work with standard-wall (Schedule 40) pipe sizes 1-2 as well as 1 5/8" wide strut channel. Mount the upper bracket directly to a ceiling or other flat surface, or use an anchor to mount the system to angles, beams, and joists.
Lower Bracket for Pipe and Strut Channel

Lower brackets connect threaded rods to the lower end of the strut or pipe. They have a hinge that allows the system to sway during seismic activity.
