Strut Channel Hinges
Hold two pieces of strut channel together so they can smoothly open and close.
Butt hinges provide smooth motion between two pieces of strut channel. The range of motion listed is for strut channel with flat ends. To achieve a maximum angle of 270°, cut the joint end of each strut channel at a 45° angle.
Piano hinges run the entire length of the strut for added strength and durability. Their standard clearance is about the same size as the pin diameter when the hinge is closed.
Zinc-plated steel hinges are more corrosion resistant in wet environments than powder-coated steel.

Strut Channel Pivots

Position two strut channels at a 30° to 90° angle, then tighten the bolt to secure.
Zinc-plated steel pivots are more corrosion resistant in wet environments than powder-coated steel.
Galvanized steel pivots have better corrosion resistance in wet environments than zinc-plated steel and can be used outdoors.
304 stainless steel pivots are more corrosion resistant than galvanized steel. They also have good chemical resistance.
