Stylus Pens

Scribble notes and enter data on touch screen devices without removing gloves or leaving smudges. These stylus pens are more precise than a fingertip, so you can draw clean lines, tick small boxes, and tap with control. The tip has a non-scratch surface, so it won’t damage your screen. Use these pens with smart phones, tablets, and pressure-activated screens, such as those on hand-held PLCs.

Metal- and X-Ray-Detectable Stylus Pens

For touchscreen devices near food lines, these pens write without scratching or smudging your screen and have additives to trigger metal detectors and X-rays if dropped in your batch. These additives help you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs for food safety. And because these pens are blue, they’re easy to spot and retrieve. They come as one piece, so there are no loose parts that could fall into your line or spaces where bacteria could grow. FDA compliant, they’re also safe to touch food.
The pointed tip on these pens is more precise than a fingertip. However, since they’re not conductive, these pens won’t work on touch screens that require electricity from a finger.

Machine Tool Indicators
Find the edge of a workpiece, align your setup, and inspect parts with one tool. Once installed in your milling machine spindle, these indicators can measure in three axes.
Dial indicators are IP67 rated for protection from dust and temporary water submersion.
LCD indicator is IP64 rated for protection from dust and splashing water. It has zero-position memory, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning, which saves the measuring position when the sensor is off. A zero-set button lets you start measuring at any point.

Calibration Styli for Quick-Connect Robot Tool Changers

Align your robot arm with work areas using these styli to make sure it will perform automated tasks accurately and won’t damage workpieces. Slide these styli into the quick-connect clamp on an end-of-robot-arm mount (sold separately). They show you exactly where your tool will touch, so you don’t have to test your application with trial and error. These styli are often used to guide robots to hole centers when attaching fasteners, or to help them find objects in pick-and-place applications. You can also use them to help your machine-vision camera recognize patterns and locations.
